Thanks for the video. I was already wondering how to do this in the best way. Makes me wanna check out for a new powered usb hub LOL. Currently got one with 5 meter and 4 connections….Alpha, Bravo, TPR and mouse. Miss a connection for the xbox controller. I’m always flying in VR and then the PC is indeed a couple of meteres away LOL

Hello. Thanks for the video. How to mapping fixed cameras above the 10 camera? For me these are the most interesting cameras.
@2020fsers Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I'm not sure what you are asking .
@andreantunes6291 Жыл бұрын
There are 18 fixed external cameras but it is only possible to map 10 in the keyboard or joystick options. You chose camera 1 and 3 as an example. Is it possible to directly choose the 15 or the 18? thanks
@2020fsers Жыл бұрын
Oh I didn't know that . I'm not sure how to map those .
@andreantunes6291 Жыл бұрын
Thanks anyway. I think the only way is to edit the aircraft file to map new views but i dont want do that. Thanks for the replies 😉

Hi there - love your very helpful videos. Would you know how I can get any external view to track the plane? - For example, in the old FSX, FS9 and P3D, I was able to go to 'Tower View' and it would automatically focus/track the moving plane - it was ideal for watching replays of landings. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for the comment ... you know I'm not really sure when I want those kind of shots I have to do it manually but you may be able to set a target to look at. look in the button bindings for drone camera . You may fine it in there or a smart cam view something like that

Nice tutorial. I'd like setup a standing position view from the ground. Exactly like if you are using a remote-controlled model helicopter. Thank you very much for your help.
@2020fsers2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can do that just unlock the camera from the plane in the camera menu utick that item. Thanks for the comment . 😀

In the sim go to the toolbar to camera settings and there you will see it

how do you control your plane when in showcase camera mode. I've been trying to figure this out for a while....sometimes I'd like to be able to show the plane while it's taxiing but I basically lose all controls when that hapepns
@2020fsers2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you cannot . What I use is the replay tool from flightsim.to and then replay the flight and go in showcase mode and get all of your exterior shots . Works well.

Thanks for this. How can you "reset cockpit view" without losing any applied zoom and translation? I have tried setting a custom view but it takes me to some wierd angle first so I need to press it twice every time. Can't work it out/figure out what I am doing wrong!
@2020fsers2 жыл бұрын
Can you save a custom view and bind it to a button or a different key and try it?

Issue I have is, when in cockpit, camera pans from left to right slowly, and won't stop. I can use joy stick to pan back to left but when I release stick, pans back to right on it;s own. Any ideas? THX
@2020fsers2 жыл бұрын
Yea possibly the controller I have a bad stick on mine and will do it from time to time while it's panning unplug the controller and see if it stops. If so it's the controller

@@2020fsers Doesn't do it on drone camera. Will try your suggestion.
@astrixau89282 жыл бұрын
you have to create a dead zone on the joystick as it has stick shift. If you have a Microsoft Xbox controller the Xbox accessories app can do this if it's not possible to do in MSFS I'm not sure as I haven't tried to do it in MSFS2020.
@2020fsers2 жыл бұрын

my camera options under "controller" shows nothing labeled X,Y, Z axis translations. just what each buttons are already assigned to. no sliders when using the thumb sticks.
@2020fsers2 жыл бұрын
Then you need to select all on the left not assigned.

The need to press 2 keys for a single camera view is excruciating. There's got to be a better way.

Yes there is go into the keyboard keybindings and make sure all bindings are shown and search alternate views and change the key bindings for the different views
