Hey Kasey (sorry if spelled your name wrong because I have seen Casey before), I'm from Canada as well and I was invited to review the same H&Y Blackmist filter too! I like your awesome and honest review as usual! Just wanted to say hi because I feel very happy and blessed to be able to review the same product as you did! I always love your videos! Have a great day!

You're the one who's right, those who spell it with a "C" are in the wrong. It's plain as day right there on his book "Monkey Strength."

You really stepped up the game with the blue light that comes from the door behind you, good job !

If ONLY someone sold a thing that would change the thread diameter of a filter. Like, it could step up, or step down the sizes so that you only had to buy the largest diameter filter and then just adapt it to your other lenses. I guess something like this will have to do until science can invent a way to do that.

did the kickstarter for the cpl, nd version works great, and definitely FRONT heavy. Wouldn't walk around with it on but once you set it on a tripod, works amazing if all your lens fall within a certain size. Easy to put on and take off, stores easily in that metal case if you bought it.

I'm not a fan of Revoring. It's fine for certain situations but I bought the whole kit including their ND filter. They are heavy, if your lenses vary too much from size to size you'll need to buy more Revorings and probably more filters. They really work when you have many lenses of similar size. I don't recommend using them with your own VND. I use Freewell VNDs and those things are heavy already so adding that weight to the weight of the Revoring will make your lens feel front heavy and controlling the stops is hard because the VND is inside the Revoring and it can unscrew itself. Their VND/CPL ring is a wonderful idea. I wish it had hard stops at 5 since after that the cross polarization makes it unable after that. Just be careful when you make your choice.

I figured out what makes Kasey great. He never scripts. Well, he sometimes scripts. -Crumpled pink 'post it' notes with half-assed scribbled reminders. That means it's all honest, real time, from the heart: "Oh god! You overdid it on the magnets! I know magnets are fun kids, but be safe." Har har! Scripted content is good, and that's what most KZbinrs do, but they're control freaks.

The standard Revo ring is better as you don’t have to use the mist if you don’t need it. In combination with the new freewell 7 in 1 I that’s the perfect combo IMO. This is cool though, regardless.

I think I would buy the empty one that you mention, but would leave it empty, so as not to degrade the optical glory of my lenses.

Pausing the side by side comparisons and re-watching, not seeing a massive difference. (I did give the video a like however) Then again, I am approaching 50 and my eyesight is fading.

Why sell the one filter if you can sell multiple? Unless it's very cheap to produce LOL

It is Front Heavy inside, but it is balance heavy outside vlogging as it counterweights the camera as you hold the tripod in front of the lens.. hmmmm?
