Instructive and clear, this video helped me a lot for some research for a client. Thanks Brian.

Thanks for the great video. I have a question, is there a way to figure out which images you have sent, so that when downloading the card, these images have a mark or something? and then you can keep the RAWs, and ditch the rest. I know you can rate them, but I am looking for a different way, as to rate I need both hands, and two actions. Thanks again

Depends on your camera of course some allow you to tag to send but usually everything is pushed straight out from camera

Yes, I tried to. I coped the IP but can't get ftp to connect on the camera or FTP client. There seems to be a piece missing.

@@youngbloodalan There are limitations, but you can set up your laptop as an ftp server without access to wifi, by creating a new "ad-hoc' network on the laptop and manually assign an IP address to it. The camera will see this network as an ftp server. The limitation is that apple removed the built-in ftp functionality after OSX Sierra

The best explanation I have seen, thank you. Can I do the same ftp transfer from my Sony A9ii to an IPAD rather than my macbook pro. If so could you recommend an ftp to install on the Ipad.

I recently asked if you could recommend a built in server that could be installed on my ipad rather than my macbook so I could ftp images from my sony camera to the ipad. I would greatly appreciate an answer if you have the time to do so.

Put camera on 10 fps second and lets see how long it takes for photos to transfere.
