Great video! Considering myself pretty flexible and fit, I would love to have a drill to get that different transition feeling. Can you recommend anything or even make a video about it? I'd be very thankful for help!

improvemyself Absolutely I could make some easy drills that would help 🥝👌 Also, in the meantime I have a video on the “Sam Snead Squat” which breaks down the mechanics!

@@KiwiGolfUS Wow, thank you so much for replying that quickly! Just watched the Sam Snead Squat and I can definitely understand the concept of increasing vertical power. I would love to see a video that combines that with this transition move. Again, thanks a lot!

Mike. Great analysis of differences thx again. Question. Is level of the pelvis slightly early more a product of starting the swing with his trail leg causing those pelvic conditions? And if so is this a common cause of that symptom which seems to present in many golfers trying to gain distance by firing hips violently thus opening early and having pelvis and trunk become what I call “Dissociated” leading to significant lumbar stress in a negative way. I teach “Association “ of pelvis and trunk with all my sports performance athletes regardless of sport to be more efficient and safe.

Mike, two compliments right off the bat. 1) You cropped your PIP, Much Improved. Thanks. 2) Better shifting and relocating your PIP during the Changes from Side to Side in the Split Screen. One Suggestion, for when you make *Anatomical References.* Use the *Full Term and immediately follow up with the Abbreviation.* (A basic rule of Journalism to NOT Assume "ALL will know the Abbreviation.") "As he goes into *Anterior Pelvic Tilt, or ATP ..."* Nicely done, would be nice to see the Difference between Tiger 1997 and His Current Swing. Might be a liitle closer to Cameron's. Well done. Paul

Sure 🥝👌 This was the only swing of Tigers I could find pre Haney era that was anywhere close to the same camera angle as Cameron is here. I searched for about 45 minutes on IG to pull these swings. If you have footage from Tiger in 2000 that matches this camera angle lemme know 🙏

@@KiwiGolfUS for example the Rory v champ one... golf was my first sport, and I had completely forgotten about the sheer.. i used to average 125-135 swing speed in my late teens early 20s. I stopped shearing at some point.. don't know when, but my swing speed dropped dramatically in my late 20s. I'm 36 now and have been working on that sheet ever since you posted it.. my swing speed has gone from a garbage 108 back to a 118 122.. man keep'em coming.. how you only have this many subs doesn't make any sense to me.. you got a great eye for the swing and know your stuff!
@KiwiGolfUS5 жыл бұрын
maddenloverhater G Thanks man 🥝🙏 That means a lot! The shearing with the lead foot is such a powerful move 👌 Don’t let anyone tell you it’s bad for the knees it actually takes a lot of stress off that leg through a pretty violent portion of the swing. Hope that club head speed keeps moving up to the 130’s
@themlh70375 жыл бұрын
@@KiwiGolfUS that's the goal.. I want to get back to the 130s! And of course bro, glad I could throw something back. And yeah my knees haven't felt the stress they used to from the bad habits I got into.. like pointing my left foot or under rotating my shoulders into the back swing.. I've even got some questions but I want to do some more research. And the weather here is shit right now so I can't really work on it yet. But once I can I'll send em.

Another comparison video of Cam champ and now you're comparing him to a Tiger of 20+years ago? There's no comparison man, Cam doesn't even belong in the same sentence. PS how do you think an unrestricted hip turn (which Cam does) is modern??
@KiwiGolfUS5 жыл бұрын
J3ui I remember you Mr. Logic Fallacy 😂🙏 Nice to get your hater comment 🥝🙏 So first thing, this Analysis was requested by a subscriber. So, are you telling me I can’t do videos for my subscribers now.... 😂 If you didn’t notice I just used your same fallacy to strengthen my point... Doesn’t seem like a valid point when used against you 😉 Second, there’s no rules against who I can and cant compare. It’s my channel, my Rules 👌 Lastly, I said his transition move is more of the modern motion that’s being taught. Just because people had this motion back in the day doesn’t mean they were taught that motion, or even people focused on those elements of their golf swing. So in review Mr. Logic Fallacy, don’t try your poorly crafted debate topics here 👌 Go back to the dark hole you crawled out from 😂🥝🙏
@J3ui5 жыл бұрын
@@KiwiGolfUS this guy trying to get all technical about separating transition from the total movement bahaha. Your transition is a reaction from how you initially turn. Semantics guy. Either way, his "transition" is no different from what Hogan or Snead did. And out of the new golfers coming on tour, he's the only that does that. Modern golf swing is unrestricted turn. Not hating just pointing out facts.
@KiwiGolfUS5 жыл бұрын
J3ui Definitely hating 😂 The X Factor is restricting hip turn on the backswing 👌 Also, I’ve seen different transitions with players that have almost identical pivots.... So there might be a correlation but there’s not a “Strong” correlation. Go back to your high school Statistics class to get that reference “buddy” 😂🥝👌

Good video. But what’s so incredible about Tiger is if the Tiger of 97 played the Champ of today, Tiger would beat him by 2-3 strokes per round. I love Champ. It just shows how GREAT TIGER WAS/IS.

Doug Barnewolt Tiger Is 🥝👊 Yea don’t get me wrong Tiger’s why I golf 👌 How he pulled off winning as many tournaments as he did with him coming in and out of the driver yips is incredible. It’ll be interesting to see if Champ can develop the supporting stats he needs to start dominating with his length!

mikesogacademy I think Cam can. I really do. I haven’t watched him very much but his power and efficiency is unmatched I think EVER because obviously those r the highlights I see. But I’ve heard he’s a pretty good putter as well. I think he will be very good if not great. But Tiger just came out like a savage. First PROFESSIONAL MAJOR WON BY 12. US OPEN by 15😳😳😳😳people forget. Maybe the most dominating athlete EVER

Doug Barnewolt I would argue the biggest thing ever to happen to golf, but I’m just a millennial so I would say that 😂 Yea Champs got a great stroke with putting once he learns the greens he’ll be making much more I believe 👌 His wedge game looks a bit suspect with his ability to control spin and trajectory, but with all the information out there I’m sure he’ll get that figured out quickly
@dougbarnewolt64455 жыл бұрын
mikesogacademy ya he will figure it out. Tiger dug it out of the dirt. Nothing like the technology we have now when Tiger was coming up. But I do believe Champ will absolutely get better. But Tiger didn’t set the bar, he IS the bar. So glad he’s back and happy and more grateful

Interesting video but we all have different swings. No one can ever take away what Tiger has accomplished with his own personal swing. Cam is young but he will never be a Tiger Woods. Tigers career trajectory at an early stage was phenomenal.

I think you are missing the boat here by just doing guy comparisons. Seriously dude, do some men/women comparisons. You'll get more views, just don;t call the broads "smoking hot chicks" and you'll be alright. But seriously, a tone of gals on the lpga have awesome swings that are appropriate for comparison to men's swings. Their sequencing and positions are sometimes easier to observe. I think your youtube viewer hit will go up as men will naturally come and stay longer, as they usually do. And women, they won't mind seeing womens' swings compared to some of the best male swings. WHat do you have to loose, you are getting like 500 hits per video.
