I think we should start taking some wild guesses, the more wild the more likely James cammeron has added It to his fantastic world. Im gonna guess that the "new character" is one of the desert people because we've heard almost no mention of them thus far.

Interesting. Some existing characters will develop further. Ardmore is a question mark, she is cold blooded, but not stupid, is she realized, that working together with Na'Vi and respect of the nature helps better, she will turn 180 degrees in an instant. Quaritch, I am really curious if he may switch from badass to a more diplomate role. Definitely really nasty... Scoresby, a strong antagonist. And depending on due AFOP DLC' s, now, there is a monster alive after the main game. Harding, and she fits so well to Scoresby. This would be a creative nasty pairing. Then some characters from the Ash people... On the good side, Spider and Kiri are thrilling. But also: Eywa. The entity became more and more active, and may become, also represented by Kiri, a major player, not just by kind of commanding nature, but by being a direct communication partner and by who knows what abilities... In Avatar universe, the import of foreign Pandora live to earth probably has less of an undesired impact (new invasive species) than a beneficial one restoring nature on battered earth. And hey, importing a planet sized botanical life form, which might soon become very valueable for humanity, be keeping earth's nature going. Expanding to earth must be also a special interest for Eywa.... Wonder if and what we mey see in the next movies. Maybe a bit inspired by the other Avatar, now the ash people / fire nation starts to brawl?

@@teleportingpotatoe the navi will always have numbers and if they did do this then the fire clan would be the complete opposite of the navi we have seen. The navi we have seen use the bare minimum amount of human weapons but if the fire clan got the weapons then they could cause lots of serious damage. Look at the first movie, they attacked first and made a point that if they navi continued growing in size then they could overrun their base with their numbers alone and that’s without technology

Thanks for bringing us the latest update! I am trying to stay away from Reddit--not because I'm worried about spoilers, but because there is so much negativity and hate towards the Avatar films. So many people are constantly saying that the films aren't deserving of the money they've made, or that the movies are boring and mediocre. Obviously, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the Avatar films seem to get a lot more backlash than other films. I know they're wrong, but it's depressing when people are constantly gaslighting me about one of my favorite film franchises. 😢

@@kissun.13 Probably not on the Avatar subreddit, but I encounter it in a surprising number of other places that you wouldn't think have anything to do with the Avatar films. It's hard to tell who's just a troll and who's expressing a genuine opinion. Constructive criticism can be a cathartic outlet to express one's frustrations, but it seems that some people are just mad that the Avatar films have been successful.

Avatar is one of my favorite franchises. The Way Of Water really blew me away, but it was a lot of set up for the remaining movies. I hope they kick these movies up a few notches after seeing Dune 2. Literally a perfect blockbuster movie. I hope James goes darker, more grown up, and layered with his stories. My fear is Disney will keep these movies “family friendly” and mess everything up like with Star Wars.

In my think what will happen in avatar 3 maybe in the final battle Neytiri will gather the all Na’Vi Clans to help her family and Neytiri have a new bow to make ash people fear in her rage. Same in the the way of water version

I think the 3rd film will have qwaritch fighting to gain his sons trust back. Where the 2nd film he was mainly after Jake. The 3rd I think he may put that grudge aside in effort to patch things up with Spider. This won't obviously go well as it could unintentionally put him in Netiris crossairs again and Jake's. What happens after that is anyone's guess.

If I’m not mistaken didn’t Cameron say right before The Way of Water came out that he made 3 a fulfilling conclusion just in case The Way of Water didn’t make enough money to make 4 and 5. I believe that 2 and 3 is one arc and 4 and 5 is another arc.

One thing I was wondering is what is going on on Mars? We know the deal with earth and that it's a dying world, overpopulated, etc 120 years into the future.. but if humans have the tech to travel to the nearest star system in just under 6 years and build a city on Pandora that can house 2 million people in just under a year, make avatar bodies, etc... then they for sure would of colonized Mars before branching out even further into Space to Pandora... so I was thinking that there could be some kind of human base on Mars during this time in the Avatar Universe but Cameron never brought it up.. that's a question I'd like to ask him...

My theory is that Jake is going to die in Avatar 3, because his narrative arc will culminate in an old veteran in Na'vi-RDA war, who'll become a legend for the next generations.
