Cameron Redpath is one of the most talented, young rugby players in the world. The Bath centre made the decision to represent Scotland on the international stage and had a great debut against England. #Rugby #RugbySkill #RugbyHit

Top vid mate, of a top player! Bet he's glad he picked Scotland now.

Thanks, definitely think he’ll have a larger role with Scotland than he would with England. Excited to see how he develops over the next few years

He had a stellar first game, as did Scotland generally....and England had no Plan B when matched physically (I'm English!)
@dannyboywhaa31464 жыл бұрын
Yep, he had a great game! This Scotland performance has been coming for a long while... last piece of jigsaw was having Fin Russel back! You’re right England had no answer and no innovation/ingenuity - was quite worrying, especially the backs!

Looks like Eddie wasn’t kidding when he said that he was planning for 2023 and didn’t care much about the attack for this year

When I first saw him I thought he looked far too skinny to be a centre but he is tall and seems to be very strong, and tbh I thought the same about Finn but he can be a beast sometimes. He seems to almost play a "second standoff" kinda role, as a 2nd playmaker. With Finn Russell that he can run off and support they could end up being an unstoppable combination. Very excited to watch him in the future, sucks he's not playing against wales. They will be relieved lol. Hopefully his neck will be sorted for the next one

Nice video, pretty solid debut! Can’t think of many players who have settled into test rugby for Scotland so smoothly! Hopefully you have to do at least a couple more updates to this one before the end of the six nations!

1:37, the speed of Duhan Van Der Merwe on the wing 😮 I never knew he had that much gas.

I know he is fast, but that fast! He made Watson, May and Daly look like slouches. May was coming across and could not even get close to the ball covering the same distance and Watson and Daly both had head starts.
@denisemccarthy53844 жыл бұрын
Based off this it is safe to reckon he is the fastest player in the six nations, perhaps Maitland when he tries or Zammit could keep up but for a big guy his speed has just amazed me.

Huge loss to the RFU. Well played on and off the field choosing to follow in his Dad's footprints. Was clearly the right choice as chances are he'd have been messed around by Eddie Jones' set up, as has so many other English qualified players.

You've just made my point. You CAN'T judge someone so early. Plus, if he was THAT good there is absolutely no way England would have let him go.

@@dazeng4633 considering England didn’t play cipriani and barely play Marcus smith judging ability of English selection is idiotic. And no I haven’t made your point as you’ve just selected half of what I’m saying. What's happening with rugby? Why do players represent foreign countries all the time, or in this case, multiple countries? Feels like the 4 home nations have too many foreign players to count right now :/

Yes, the rules are and have been for a long time, that if up to your grandparents are born in a country you can play for that national team. Why change that, there is no reason to other than a pointless moan.
