Came back to this video after two years and purchased my Autobahn finally. My mod list has been comprised of mods mainly from this video. The cleanest, near stock looking GTI I have ever seen. It's beautiful and I've always loved the GTI for a better of 15 years. No, not everyone's cup of tea but I absolutely love it.

i’d say they fully mapped the engine, changed the air intake, straight piped it and put a sport exhaust on, also changed the air filter. then rims, new coilers and suspensions to lower the car (?), a back diffuser and a front lip and lateral skirts. Then i’m not sure what they did after messing with the trunk. after that they put led lights on the did a complete brake job and mounted red calipers on those. after that they mounted a p3 multi-functional digital gauge they can control the engine and turbo, then they mounted a handle bar which i don’t know what’s for and finally a turbo.

in the uk the GTI GTD and R are all equiped with led lights or zenon depending on what MK u guys get them pretty standard

Soo, been catching up on the cars im looking at buying-- ya got me back into my V-Dubs brother!! So its down to a '07 or '08 4door GTI 2.0t autos, one with a few lil mods other pretty much stock, OR an '09 Mazdaspeed 3!! My goodness i cannot wait to go check them out later this week!! Got a max of around $4500 or so but hoping to keep it around $4k so i have a few bucks to grab my first few things after i go through whichever car i get and do a full service/fluids change from top to bottom!!! Im like a kid in a candy store!! Thanks again!!!

Got a Mk 7.5 autobahn myself with a stage 2 tune pushing 350 whp and 480 nm. I’m pretty bummed out you selling the GTI but the upgrades ran out I guess. @Bry Zeer Yes I have a golf 7 gti stage 2+ myself. What you say about the turbos is true. i really did a lot of upgrades and i push 330hp. With a xforce 3inch catback and a catless downpipe. The best choice for more power is of course the is38. And a bigger intercooler like the wagner. But if you want to go next level Just add the hpfp too haha

While the MkVI is considered by many to be a bridge car , one that simply fills the gap between two more distinct design changes. I still like the body lines . Especially the 2 door.

That’s an expensive upgrade for aesthetics. I have a mk7 and yeah I wish I had the lighting package on mine but it was the only one on the lot when I got it. I looked into swapping the headlights out but it’s just not worth the money. The LED’s he put in look great though and probably 10% of the cost.
