Cameron Niemela where can I get the rubber cone washer or banjo bolt thing?
@Hot_Brass_Media7 жыл бұрын
Man your videos are so amazing. I remember watching the videos on your crf250r like how to install graphics and all those powder coating videos. You've came so far from those videos and you make some kickass content. Every time I see you post a video I make sure to click on it and watch the whole video. Again thanks for posting sweet content.

I personally call it the "septic tank" instead, and it's my favorite video segment. Seeing all that dirt and grime melt away is soo satisfying!

I removed my tps electric thing from my crf450 carb when i cleaned it. Since i dont have it connected when i ride it should not be a problem to remove it right? I got a bit worried when you said that u should not remove it during cleaning!
@CameronNiemela7 жыл бұрын
If it's not plugged in then you're fine. But I'd recommend using the TPS since it's there for a reason.
@klubbaN7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply! I wrote it on my other account. But since i bought the bike the tps where not connected and if i connect it what will happend? And if i may ask could you subscribe to my channel. I am rebuilding my Crf450 supermoto.

Can you tell me an alternative to mag cleaner in the uk. I have tried searching for some here but with no luck. Thanks
@patrickcasey3302 жыл бұрын
Good video - I would add that those carbs have a mid body that can be removed also . . . they have o rings / gaskets that corrode. I built my CRF250R (2004/2006) Basketcase Edition last year. The bike ran good - but there were things I noticed when it ran that did not seem right. It had a lean bog. I always had to set fuel screw rich to minimize. Long story short . . The AP was pointing at the side of the carb, which was wrong. The main jet air intake had a dirt clod in it. I replaced the AP nozzle with an Athena dual squirt, and aimed it correctly. Removed te dirt clod also. Big improvement,

Last ride of the season I tipped my bike over and bent my rad up a little bit. I thought for sure I was gonna have to replace it. Definitely gonna try this out.
@socks24413 жыл бұрын
ive run a bent radiator for years, unless its so bent air cant flow through it there is no real reason to replace it apart from aesthetics. and chances are even a really bent radiator is unnoticeable.

14:19 how the hell those radiators survived is beyond me. i had a slightly bent radiator on the left side, dropped my bike with me under it, or more like wheelie launched it on top of me out of a tight turn and bent it further, it immediately started leaking. i put some $2 instant 2 part epoxy over it and it is somehow still working to this day. i would never have the courage to attempt to straighten it and hammar away at it like that though. then again, im doing a full rebuild right now, so i will have to do something about that radiator. i dont trust that resin. so maybe i can straighten it while im at it, and if i get more leaks so be it, i will either take it somewhere for them to professionally repair the leaks or i will solder it myself or something. i would consider brazing it but we are out of gas and the cylinders would fail test so cant be refilled... dang. woo. did i really just type all that. why.

What electric pressure washer do you use in the blast cabinet and what hand attachment is used. Currently building a pressure wash cabinet myself. Any help? Thanks!
@CameronNiemela7 жыл бұрын
It's a Ryobi 1800 PSI electric one. Just uses a pressure wash hose into the cabinet with a pressure wash tip.

Isn't that o-ring on the fuel screw supposed to be on top of the washer? It seals nothing if it's up against a spring, I thought?

You are correct, this is how it was when I pulled it apart.

Quick question, why is a 4 stroke carburetor more complex in terms of polleys and stuff like that than a 2 stroke? Many thanks for providing awesome content everyday! ;)
@CameronNiemela7 жыл бұрын
4 strokes kept advancing at a rapid pace while 2 strokes have been the same since 2005 or so. It takes a little more sophistication to get optimal power out of a 4 stroke.
