O/K. First thing you need to know is the screws retaining the circuit board are TORX T5. You need one of these (very small) screwdriver heads. NO.... You cannot get a suction cup and remove the screen. It has to be heated with a hair dryer or heat gun first and the run something like a credit card around the edges to loosen the screen from the chassis...2nd disconnecting the screen ribbon cable be very careful Reconnecting it not as easy as it looks. there is little room to play with and you need to make sure it goes all the way in to the white line. 3rd....So the battery connection which way is up or down?????? My experience is the black wire terminal should be on the outside of the phone...

Good help. I had to "Bake" phone in the hot sun, then use heat gun. Now I'm stuck. Cannot reconnect screen ribbon. any further tips?

@@leokate5559 I struggled to get the ribbon cable back into its socket. My fingers were much to big and being in my seventies my hands are not very steady. But I did it using some fine pointed piers making sure I gripped it the ribbon close to the white line. Tweesers might also work. It is best to remove the memory card if you have put one in because it can easily get trapped between the cct board and the chassis when you reassemble.

I used "CR-V T4" and it worked well. First I tried with T5 and failed to unscrew some and even damaged some...

It is because of the faulty battery. Your battery is kind of swelling up which in turn pushing the flash connectors away from the board, also you may feel a slight bulge in the display. I would suggest you to replace your battery asap.

I just did a Moto G3 battery replacement. This really is all there is to it, but what's missing from this video is the part where you deal with the adhesive which holds the display to the frame. I used a heat gun, some plastic picks, and a lot of patience on mine. You're not going to slap a suction cup on it and pop it off in a few seconds like the video. The battery isn't going to just fall out for you when you get the back off either. I suspect the phone in this video was previously disassembled and all or most of the adhesive was removed before it was reassembled for the video.
