Nice touch on that prechorus arpeggio! Have still problems getting that clean. Always sounds dissonnant when I play it.

Man, TOOL has so many songs with tons of little parts that I could never figure out or get quite right, but you’ve got them all nailed and really allowed me to sound a lot better when I play their songs. Thanks dude!

Cool cover man, i was looking out the tab and i noticed that in minute 1:09 the tab says powwer chord on the second fret and then in the 22th fret, thats just the full chord on the 14th fret or you really have to jump from one extreme of the fretboard to the other? otherwise the tabs is great, thank you

Adam Jones plays it like that. So I guess it's the "official" way if you want. There is a difference in tone with using different strings though if you're looking for perfection. Otherwise, I'd recommend to just be creative and have fun with it! Keep on rocking

Awesome video dude thank you🤘 Is there any way you could let me know what wah pedal you're using iv got a 535q but I'm not sure how to set it up to get his sound iv tried several positions but I'm not getting it lol it would be a big help
@schlam185 жыл бұрын
he is using a plug in on a computer mate , pretty sure its as far forward as the knob goes mate... but tone can change where the pedal sits in the chain from my experience , maybe try moving stuff around. and it be hard getting really close if u aint got the base tone going to the wah to begin with, set it up where it sounds the best to u and just enjoy

I havent had a 535q in awhile, but you'll rotate the knob either all the way left or all the way right. Whichever has the deepest sound when the toe is up. wont sound exact though. He has an old 90's 535q called a BB535q. They are most often not labeled as such on eBay, but you can identify them by the red and green lights on the top near the footswitch. The Dimebag wah is, as far as I know, the closest to the BB535q thats on the market now, I'd trade that 535q for one of those if you're looking for the Jonez Tonez. Also, schlam18 is right. Try it in some other positions, because it should sound pretty close. And by other positions, I mean absolutely the first thing in your chain and nowhere else.
