It’s definitely awesome to see people in their younger 20s be interested into Stoic philosophy. I’m 21 and I don’t see a lot of people my age appreciate what this philosophy teaches. I really wish stoicism could be taught to kids in their teens where it’s most important for them to stray away from anxiety and accept the stressors in life.

camila was struggling with anxiety, ocd, She’s been through a lot more too all these years since ever. Her family has struggled so much when she was young and almost even took a break from her career , now she was able to take a step back, reflect, and heal ,I’m So happy she worked so much on herself and learned ways to cope with anxiet also I’m glad she’s making her family proud the same way she makes us proud. i am so proud of her and will always support her 💕

Honestly, sometimes you have stars on the podcast who have a surface-level, 30-second elevator pitch idea of Stoicism*, and I was worried that’s what this was going to be. I was joyfully wrong. Camila has not only clearly read your books but she also actively provided examples of her own Stoic practices. One of the best episodes yet. *There’s nothing wrong with this. I understand it comes with the territory of marketing a podcast. It’s just I’d rather listen to another excerpt of “How to Think Like a Roman Emperor” instead.

One of the few people who actually talk about the Gita correctly, with the essence of it in context: Camila. Being half-Indian, I thank you. Really funny when people try to make sense of the Gita from a ''Catholic" point of view, which is fine but just, then you're not looking at the product of a culture different to yours with open eyes. You're looking at it through a certain glass, and so you'll never be able to gain the full meaning behind it. I understand that not all things can be communicated well when they transcend cultures (yoga and the concept of karma being two infamous examples), but it would still benefit people to know what they actually mean and not think they're doing ''yoga'' when they're just stretching their backs out (and idk, getting cramps) or savagely replying to somebody that *"Huh, karma is real!".* :)
