Love your results! I wish there were more products for fine curly gals like us. I feel curly hair companies mostly make their products for thick hair.

Totally agree! I have such a hard time finding products for my thin and fine hair. So many products cater to thick or coarse hair and it’s so hard to find good recommendations.

My hair is a 2A wave, high porosity. Most products with enough hold make my hair dry. I just used the curl maker and my waves aren’t as tight as normal(I was scared to use too much so next time I’ll use more) but my hair and waves are so shiny, clumpy, and defined without being crunchy or dry. I’m obsessed!

When I first found out I had wavy hair (at age 30) I bought these 2 products and the milk was so greasy I didn't realize I had to use way less with lots of water. I love the gel with the kinky curl leave-in because it clumps my hair but I have to add mousse for a little more hold for my waves. Glad you reviewed this, hopefully we get to see an update on your opinion or product combos that worked.

My hair is very similar to yours, I have fine wavy curly hair as well and it’s been a struggle for me to find the proper technique and products to curl my hair. I purchased these products a week ago and tried two other techniques from other KZbin channels and the results were horrible. I was so close to giving up on my curls but I tried your technique tonight and my results were amazing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your technique and how you explained the process in this video. Because of you I’ll be able to revive my curls and start my curly girl journey the proper way ! Thank you ! ❤️❤️❤️

I tried the same products that you demo-ed, and it never dried in my hair after a full day. My hair was damp and sticky all day long! I did not like it at all. Threw them away. My very favorite styling product is my homemade flax gel that I customize for my fine hair. I love it. Nothing better.

@@jessiestephens3943 I use a lower ratio of flaxseeds to water than most flax gel recipes that I have seen. My hair is so fine with a closed cuticle and products really weigh it down. I also add a little gelatin. I add marshmallow root, xanthan gum, rosehip oil, dash of glycerin, and epsom salt (magnesium) for curls. Everyone's hair is different and the trick is finding a way to make it to work in your hair. I keep all of my recipes that I have tried and so far I like this one the best. When I perfect it I will start adding anti microbials and I can make it in bigger batches. On the curl mix website they share a recipe for flaxgel, so I used that and altered it.

I read the reviews on the Naturally Curly website and decided they weren't for me. I have wavy to curly hair. Some is fine and some is medium to coarse. But it is long so styling for fine hair works very well for me. I'm so curious about Bounce Curl products. In particular the curl cream and the cream gel. Hope you get to review their products.

I should have watched this before purchasing today. Ugh. Ok well, I have my $25 gel at home so too late. I decided to buy it bc the ingredients look amazing, and I've been using the cleansing milk like once a week and love it (I shampoo once a week and cowash once week). Fingers crossed 🤞 😬

I tried the curl maker once and it did not work for my hair, it made it super stringy and curls did not form very well. I even tried diluting it in water and that didn’t really help. Oh well lol. Maybe I’ll try it again.

Hello! Have you tried the coconut water leave-in of this brand? it says "light weight" but I'm not sure, on the ingredients list appear some oils but after the 10th ingredient, so I usually avoid products with too many oils cause they are gonna weigh my hair down, but they are not the main ingredients, maybe this one is better for us with thin curly hair. I'm about to buy it, but I'm not sure :D

Everyone is always talking about their fine hair being easily weighed down. My medium-coarse, low po hair is sooo heavy & weighed down so easily. Is coarser hair not supposed to be weighed down or something?
@LuisaLouis3 жыл бұрын
I think it might be because you have low po. Your hair is doing a good job at keeping the moisture in and probably doesn’t need extra products. I would try a very light leave-in + gel on day 1 and maybe only refresh with water and gel on days 2-3-4… and see how your hair reacts 😉
