I'm still baffled by this guy. He showed up to possibly the most televised trial since OJ without brushing his hair. He couldn't defend his "expert" testimony without getting flustered. He tried to get the court to believe he didn't know actors rehearse before going on stage. Then there's the moment he tounged the air like a lizard. If you told me they found this guy wandering the street and paid him to pretend he was a psychologist, I'd believe it.

@@Cllocopine To prove that: A) Supposedly Depp's cognitive capabilities in "pirates" were somehow remarkable yet the doctor won't compare that performance to others in order to establish a pattern. B) The doctor hasn't seen everything so he is coming to conclusions based off of incomplete information. C) Depp's lawyer is showing how ridiculous it is that a movie performance is being used as evidence of Depp's cognitive capabilities by picking one at random, because it would have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the doctor's 'evaluation' as evidenced by the doctor being unwilling to analyze it. Basically he is just proving to the jury that if the doctor puts zero stock in Depp's Wonka performance, why is his Pirates performance any different in that regard? It's just proving that the doctor has a bias, and is cherry picking his analysis.

More like the only "professional" they could find who was unethical enough to testify about Depp without seeing him had to be this unhinged. His inability to answer the simplest of questions without desperately expounding at length in an attempt to manipulate the message the jury got was astonishing. Watching Depp's lawyer let him go on and on and on and then say, "I didn't ask you about any of that" was pretty entertaining.

No joke, I was watching this happened live, and I totally thought that Dr. BageI was the one who had asked the question of “Does Willy Wonka not matter to you?“ I thought this because he obviously was claiming that his baseline for JD’s processing intellect speed was from what he had seen when Johnny was in movies acting. As a sidenote, it is really interesting to see just how many BageIs in general are involved in this court case and JD’s life in general. They make up less than 2% of the US, ffs. Hahaha. I wonder if Johnny will ever picked up on this… Even the people he trusted to manage his money (the two BageI brothers) burned him, so he sued them for $650 million!

He testified that Johnny's cognitive competences are limited because he couldn't remember 3 words during a memory test. Johnny's laywer proved to him that it wasn't ethical to state anything at all since he has never even talked to him, that he has no idea how the entirety of the test went, that he knows nothing about the state Johnny was in during that test, and he kept saying that his methods were academically correct. He thought the ice cream on Johnny was vomit. Said that the earbuds Johnny uses during acting were for lines. Kept confusing correlation and causation. This man is not qualified for anything at all. Fully watching this was not only painful, it was scary as this guy clearly could simply provide a wrong diagnosis and fuck up someones life.

watching live this guy was insanely frustrating to listen to. You are not a lawyer, just answer the effin question and let the lawyer sort it out. Thankfully no one asked him if water was wet, we would have been there 3 more hours. On the plus side, the jury likely felt the same way and making him answer these specific questions were designed to send him off into these rants. If a jury finds a witness annoying AF, likely to give them less standing/value.

@@homelander98 That’s the point of the question though. He’s driving home to the jury that his deposition was unprofessional. They will repeat these kinds of questions when they witness for the opposition has shown a weakness like this. You think he should just let it go? No, he’s going to hammer it home so everyone notices. You may have noticed Amber’s team repeating the EXACT same question a dozen times. At least he added a little difference to his question, and only repeated it once.
