Before starting el camino santiago pilgrimage, we have been doing full time vanlife in the UK in our luton camper van conversion, but just days before this video it broke down and looks like it needs yet another new engine

My dear dad walked and then biked the Camino years ago. I didn't understand the significance of what he was doing back then, his sense of wanderlust, that he kept all throughout his life. I haven't followed anyone's journey doing the trail before, so as a recent and very happy subscriber to your channel I'm looking forward to seeing what it's really like! Really think you have made the right decision to get away, please don’t let incorrect footwear spoil it for you, it’s a long way and a lot of steps, care for your feet and you will be fine, tired weary but fine, go for it!!

I literally have anxiety about Liam’s footwear and the impact on his feet and hips.. I’ve done 60 miles in 24 hours before and footwear is so important 😮

You videos are pure escapism for me. I can't go away for 5hrs without planning every detail and making sure I am prepared for all weathers, so watching you guys go away for 5 weeks (I think?) wearing sandals to hike all day and with no rain jackets on in the pouring rain blows my mind. I love to watch just how laid back and free spirited you guys are, it's all so different to how I do life and I'm inspired to definitely let go... a little bit... but still with my raincoat and walking shoes 😆 Looking forward to following your journey!

My daughter has literally just done the camino with a 6 month old baby so their luggage was forwarded every day. They never had a problem. Good luck with the rest of the trip.

Brilliant, go for it, been looking to cycle it, hopefully late summer, early autumn next year, I worked with a guy who did it, he said he’d cry with painful knees most mornings, he was doing 20 miles a day, but he completed it.

El Camino de Santiago de Compostella is on my bucket list. The BBC did a programme about it with celebrities of different faiths and without faith to see how they felt. Although the walk was originally Catholic, I understand that the spiritually of the walk is enjoyed by anyone. All the time spent in nature giving you time to contemplate what is important and future goals. I’ll be avidly watching and hoping you are finding some peace of mind and not worrying too much about Morgan. Buen Camino. Stay safe and happy travels xx

I've loved following your adventures in the last few years, and this latest one is even more special to me because I walked the exact same route from SJPP to Santiago this year in May/June. You're going to love the pilgrimage! Funnily enough I also spent a year in India in 2019 and saw many of the same places you visited over there, so I was glued to your vlogs out there. Great adventure. I live close to Fatima in Portugal and see all the pilgrims walking to the church in town. There are hundreds, if not thousand coming from all directions on one of the holidays. The church is the second biggest one after the Vatican, so the huge parking lots are well filled up.
