The editing was very beautiful. The heart that edited it felt like a perceptive soul who feels deeply and thinks much, one that loves the beauty and moves in poetry, someone who longs to speak of the broken places and the triumphs, and longs to feel. Who like to knows and play the sadness away. Thank you inspiring I felt like I got a tiny true taste of what its like

Great video! You highlighted a lot of my favourite places and stops. The Camino was the most challenging time of my life and today is my one year anniversary of reaching Santiago. Time to go back… but with a different partner or by myself!

@@DaysWeSpend One question for you. Your vid(s) on the Norte confirm what I have heard others say concerning the large amount of road walking. Would you say that the amount of road walking is so great that, for that reason, you would not repeat the Norte?
@DaysWeSpend4 жыл бұрын
Hi Eric, even though there’s a lot of concrete, we would do the route again. The beaches are beautiful and the towns are lovely. Knowing about the concrete, I would bring extra hiking pole tips. - Lainey

Wow so nice to see through your eyes what I also experienced. I walked Irun-Finesterre/Muxia in October 2019 and have been longing to go back every single day ever since. One of the best experiences in my life.

I love that you took the alternate route out of Santander! I did the same but walked a very long day to Santillana and then missed out on seeing the beautiful town. The nature on the way was spectacular though! (CdN 17.07.17 - 17.08.17)

Thanks! It was an interesting and beautiful walk. We got a bit lost though! Some of the bushes were very overgrown. Santillana was so gorgeous!!

@@DaysWeSpend Awesome! Thanx, maybe i'll get another shot at that in the future. Btw... It was your Loveletter to the Norte-Video that made me hike it last year in the first place... So yeah, Thanx again for helping out with that decision ✌️

Hello, good video for Camino Del Norte as I will go for the same route in July 2022. As I am trying to ensure my Camino not more than 35 days, can you advise which stages/points I can skip and take bus/taxi instead?
@DaysWeSpend2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! You can walk the full route in 35 days. We took many short days because Shawn was working remotely for some afternoons. If you do want to skip a section, you can watch our Norte vlog playlist and get some ideas: kzbin.info/aero/PL0YDwQCRiJMVCegVyHjrO7_WC3GS_Q-9v Some people take a bus from Bilbao to Portugalete. We took a train out of Gijon to avoid some concrete (but I wish we walked that part since we ended up getting lost).

Staying at the monastary in Zenarruza, with the communal dinner, is a great bonding experience for pilgrims at the beginning of the Camino.

So, out of the Camino del Norte and the Camino Frances - which did you prefer? Could be a idea for a new Vlog “Pro’s and Con’s” of both, and your ultimate conclusion!?!?
