I love uphill too..I was a runner until hip replacement. So I understand what you mean about pushing on the strong legs. Yours from swimming. Continue to enjoy your Camino.

I agree. I’ve loved following your Camino daily and am living vicariously thru your walk since I’m not able to go this year. I will miss you guys so much but also will be so happy for you to arrive in Santiago. Some of my Camino mates from last year at this time are Aussies, I’m an American.. Weeks ago I sent a text to our group chat ( we actually hope to walk together again next spring ). I asked them, what in the world does this mean “As good as??”. As good as what I asked ? They laughed and laughed and now every once in a while, we share a voice text with some version of “ as good as”. My other favorite “It warms my heart ..” You two warm mine ! Buen Camino!

Having had a bad right knee (replaced) going uphill is less stress on knees than going downhill-thank god for hiking poles
