I really like this upload because I see empathy which matters. Also a bit older so I see Elphaba and Chelsea Lee Art as just a continuation of Jerry Springer, then Big Brother and shows like it where people got attention for being 'larger than life'. Somehow in 2023, we are exactly in the same spot. Didn't expect that. What I will say about Alpha and CLA is that you might think 'ew I'm getting weird vibes but who would actually do that? If it wasn't just who they are (cue empathy, sympathy etc). That's pretty much how fraudsters work. 101. It's the hiding in plain sight thing and it plays out again and again so worth being mindful of.

He's got one of the biggest hearts on ANY platform and just coz he's got stuff to say about certain people - doesn't mean he wants dickheads to go and give them hassle. Elphaba is a tramp but I don't wish them harm and if I had a channel - I would hate to feel like I couldn't criticise anybody without there being a massive pile on but unfortunately there are idiots (cough cough..) who get stuff mixed up in their tiny little brains 🙄

As someone who has been removed from the position I was in that I considered my calling. She will need help recovering and reinventing herself perhaps in a different employment field. Her very identity will be brought into question. I loved what I did and when it was lost to me, I felt adrift and incapable of seeing an alternative future for myself. No matter how deserved , such a change is a trauma. Self perception will be challenged. Your value system will be challenged. Your place in this world will be brought into question and for someone who has sought so much to be liked and be relevant in strangers lives alongside other challenges she has experienced regarding her identity, she will be Super vulnerable. Essentially. Who am I , if I cannot be this.

As someone who is autistic, her videos not only offend autistic people, they also degrade us because you could see from a mile she was faking it. They also perpetuate stereo types of autistic people. I have had to overcome so much bullying to get where I am and im proud of where I am at the moment. I used to and still do get targeted wherever I live by these bullies. She actively harmed the autistic community. I truly hope that Elphiba does get the help that she needs and gets to a point where she is happy within herself and doesnt need external validation.

heres the thing with tics (I have them): sometimes you can suppress them, but usually not for long/at all. Suppressing tics is very difficult, requires a lot of focus, and often painful. Suppressing also can lead to tic attacks and/or worse tics for a while, which is why most people with tics choose to suppress as little as possible or not at all. Even though I can suppress some of my tics for a little bit, it always causes me more damage, so I try to just let myself tic unless there is something where I absolutely need to try to suppress some tics (like if I'm talking to a teacher and feel a middle finger tic coming).
@griff282 Жыл бұрын
i think the main reason people shut down elphas claims of being trans/misgendering her etc is because of the amount of money she's spent on random shit like designer clothes and loads of takeaways that shes said to be for her transition surgery funding etc. Shes spent so much of her funding on random stuff that has nothing to do with her actually transitioning that a lot of people think shes just taking the piss, and using it to get more following and money, so resort to the misgendering because they dont think shes being genuine with her identity.

@user-xd7dt6gr8l Жыл бұрын
This gets a bit off topic, but I appreciate the segment covering the misgendering very much. For one because people get this idea that it's okay to misgender a transgender person if they did something bad, therefore pushing the idea that trans people have to "earn" being gendered correctly. Also because I think it also allowed you to emphasize that the way she acts is not correlated to her being transgender. There can be a thousand decent trans people for every trans person who is also a freak, and people will use that one freak as their reason for why all trans people are freaks lol. For a long time youtubers never really addressed the topic of trans people directly because it was seen as this crazy radical controversial woke thing to talk about, and it makes me happier that more youtubers are being direct in talking about it as well as affirming where they stand on it. Most of my life I wanted to start a youtube channel bc I like to talk about shit, but I could just never work up the courage to, because being a creator who is trans in a commentary space felt extremely daunting. Seeing stuff like this from creators makes me hopeful I'll be able to get that courage eventually.

I can control them by doing diffrent breathing exercises or doing somthing to distract me. It’s like trying not to blink. I’m 19 now and it’s only recent years Iv been able to control them but if I’m stressed or excited there’s no controlling them cuz that when there at there peak. Ano not very many people know all this cuz it isn’t that common as such to have them but from me having them you can tell when people are faking or trying to hold them in. It’s not something to be saying I have “Tics” just for the crack because we all struggle with them !. Love the content btw ❤

This is definitely mental illness, to what degree obviously i cannot say, but i think its clear she has an addictive side in her personality (addicted to live streaming) coupled with the very clear signs of feeding off the drama, her meltdowns are very similar to my own mental health many years ago, however...my meltdowns were when i was alone, i didnt want anyone to see my meltdowns...and i feel like she will never get better until she stops showing them off, i mean for... 1. If your always on tiktok live your not sitting still alone enough, to process your own thoughts, and if your not processing your own thoughts, you wont start trying to get help one way or another. 2. When she becomes more mentally well, does anyone think having all your meltdowns on the internet, for everyone to see and continue to bug you about for the foreseeable future is a good idea.. Because i certainly dont... An example would be, some people seeing her in the street and start playing her videos of her worst time mentally, sending her backwards into her mental healthcare. Its like a Negative feedback loop. So yes for me...i just feel so sad for this person who clearly just needs help, for their own mental wellbeing. Also i definitely dont excuse lies..but i do wonder if this is because part of the mental health diagnosis aswell, because lying for attention does fall under a few different mental health conditions, ive met a few people who have Munchausen syndrome, and ive also met a few people who act similar who had Bordeline Personality Disorder.
@PresKen3920Ай бұрын
I believe it is too. I have BPD and I’m fairly confident that she has at least that. The extreme reactions, mood swings, impulsive and extreme actions/behaviour, addictive personality are all of the obvious symptoms but there also signs she experiences identity issues and dissociation too. This is just my personal opinion based on my own experience of living with BPD but tbh it makes me more empathetic for her. If she does have BPD, she’s likely extremely unstable, unhappy and most out of control of herself because this is what BPD looks like when we are NOT managing things well. With the right diagnosis, treatment and support, we can function very well and often people would never know we even had BPD but often for us to get diagnosed, things have to be this bad (often much worse actually) before it ever gets better. So yeah, my heart goes out to her if this is the case because I’ve been there and to everyone the outside it looks like, well, this… batshit insane… and it is, but it’s also extremely painful, isolating, scary, dangerous and always worse for us with it than those observing it as an outside perspective. I hope she seeks help to properly diagnose what her situation is so she can start treatment. Early intervention is everything and everyone deserves to have a healthy mental state.

I really was ready to give her the benefit of the doubt when I first heard about this stuff but especially as an autistic person (I'm self dx tho would have an official diagnosis if I'd followed through with testing - I was too stressed and overwhelmed at the time and don't have the resources to start again), any empathy I had for her died hearing her fluctuating opinions surrounding neurodivergence. It seems like she's not willing to listen and learn, instead she sees and does and that would be very sad if she hadn't had kind and gentle people DMing her, commenting and making videos detailing exactly why it would benefit her to take a step back, do some solid research, formulate her own opinions and attempt to come to terms with her probable neurodivergence regardless of whether it's autism or not. Anyways I hope all the neurodivergent folk, trans folk and whosoever might be reading this are having a lovely day and not letting Elphaba or any antagonising comments get to them in any significant way. to be fair, tics can be suppressed for a short period of time but it isn’t always possible, she 100% does not have tourette’s though
@user-xd7dt6gr8l Жыл бұрын
To be fair regarding the tics thing I don't know if a hiccup is necessarily the analogy I'd use for tics, as they can actually be suppressed to a SMALL extent, where hiccups are 100% involuntary. Mine come from either OCD or ADHD (or both idk, they're separate from OCD compulsions though), and I would say I can suppress them in the same way you can hold your breath underwater. I think the way Wikipedia describes it is actually really good: "Tics are described as semi-voluntary or unvoluntary, because they are not strictly involuntary-they may be experienced as a voluntary response to a premonitory urge (a sensory phenomena that is an inner sensation of mounting tension). A unique aspect of tics, relative to other movement disorders, is that they are suppressible yet irresistible; they are experienced as an irresistible urge that must eventually be expressed." With that being said, there is no shot someone who is on livestream 12 hours a day has tics but can suppress them that long. For most people with tics trying to suppress an urge for a few minutes is difficult and often results in this inner "build up", causing the tics to be more severe for a little bit once the person stops trying to suppress them. Again, like holding your breath underwater, once you surface you're going to be gasping for air. Also she tried imitating complex phonic tics which are only present in ~1/10 people who have Tourette Syndrome (no other disorder has those) so her using those as a reason for having autism made me giggle. I wonder if someone pointed that out and that's why she started saying she has TS too.

I don’t understand how people in tik tok just degrade themselves for money. It’s ridiculous.

Honestly as someone with bipolar I say she could acc get away with saying she has bipolar! Bloody hell one week she’s one thing and the next she’s another like swear she has had tics and autism Godknows what else😂

I have diagnosed tourettes, for me its more like a cough, u can hold it in but not for hours on end- and it rlly depends on how ur tics r that day but that doesn't justify her clearly faking it. Even if tics do get worse when u talk abt them/give attention to them, she is 100% faking. And its annoying me sm with all these ppl faking disabilities bc it genuinely affects those of us that are disabled :/

It’s at the point where if it ever started as an act, it’s far from an act at this point.

Misgendering? No, get out. Critiquing her singing? Omg please bring that on. Her old lives were so fun.

I’m 164 cm tall and 37kg. I am a fat woman. I’m sick of people telling me I’m not. I’m so glad people like you acknowledge who our brains say we are despite what our bodies say we are. I know what I am inside. Thank you. 🙏🏼

as much as i dont agree with elphaba faking tics, as a person with tics, you can suppress some tics as they can come with something known as a premonitory urge so you can feel it coming and in some cases suppress them until a later time, this is however very uncomfortable and if we suppress for a prolonged period of time (for instance the length of elphaba’s lives) it can cause tic attacks.

It's like with hair stylists you don't say if you don't like it as you don't want them to then make it worse / them being upset or angry like my social anxiety could never (elphaba brownie moment)
