I’d literally get less of an ick if the dude just said “Yeah I’m married” rather than “Oh I just wear this to keep all the feral girls at bay.” 😂😂😂

Having kids and raising them is a time sink, even just the basics. My husband and I have ADHD and Autism and our son is too and the hours and hours that have been spent on reinforcement or tantrums or xyz 😂 why we only have one.

I like the way that Cam seees both sides of the coin and doesn’t just slag the mum off. It’s a real shame for her, she must struggle to deal with three kids. My heart went out to the oldest one 😢

the fact they still thought it was fine to play this in the mid to late-ish 2010's kinda says a lot, I don't remember one episode me and my friends watched that didn't keep us up

I have a faint memory (I think from this same season of Supernanny) of a family who I think had lost a child to SIDS, and their remaining son was so badly behaved that they couldn't even do a naughty step with him. I think they were called the Smith-Clarke family or something like that, you should totally react to that one because frankly I think it' the wildest one out there!

Being a girl who was once a teenage girl, it’s a scary place 😂😂 I’ve on both ends of the stick - the one being isolated and the one swept up in pack mentality and left someone else out. As an adult now, I’d never do that now and definitely am not proud of it, but the hormones are insanity. When I think back to about when I was 12 to about 18/19, it was hell mentally and everyone took it out on each other Couldn’t pay me to go through that age ever again 😂😂😂

Still watching, and I know it was just a dumb joke, but XL bullies have gotten such a bad rep. If owners were responsible and trained their dogs, (regardless of the size of the animal,) and employed reasonable adjustments to work with their pets so they can coexist with their community and the world around them more, then we wouldn't have so many large-breed dogs being needlessly put down simply because theyre deemed over a size threshold. Pitbulls are lovely family pets. LX dog breeds can be wonderful and friendly animals. Its because people refuse to train their pets and treat them badly that they become aggressive and impossible to cope with. Its because people won't take the necessary steps to intergrate their dogs into the world in a way which promotes stability and friendliness that we even have these issues. Rant over, just bothers me that some animals get such a bad rep for no reason. It's not the dog's fault that they've been failed by the ones responsible for looking after them.

The reason they keep going with the methods is the very point of them. It's about consistency and empowerment for the parent. When it happens again and again with no new result, the kid gets to the point of giving up - mom doesn't crack, doesn't move to physical altercations, and doesn't provide you the attention you thrive on as a kid. When the routine has happened a few times, the kid gets affirmed that mom won't give in, and they just accept it the first time - it won't remain a 2-hour bedtime routine.

You can’t give up on discipline with kids. You won’t get anything done in the beginning. It will be exhausting. It will take months and months. There are NO shortcuts. But if you don’t do it, your kids will be unsafe, they will grow into poorly adjusted adults and they won’t feel love from their parents because the home will be a constant war zone. Once the discipline is there, it gets easier.

13:45 I see why you say that, but this is why so many parents give up. You keep going and going and going. Eventually the child realizes that you will never give up. After a few weeks of absolute hell, the child will STAY in that naughty corner, learn accountability, learn to apologize and hugs and kisses always come after so the child will still feel that unconditional love. True, you’ll get absolutely nothing done at first, but eventually you will because the child will learn manners and basic decency.

Cam, all the methods that are being implemented aren't just going to work instantly or after 2 tries or so, it requires a lot of patients and determination, how Supernanny i dealing with it is exactly spot on, she can't just be soft, she has to tell her how it is and to keep going and going no matter how much of a struggle it is. It might seem these methods are pointless and are going nowhere, but that's the defeatist approach, you just have to keep at it, eventually they will give up

Don't underestimate the power of talking! Speaking from experience with a family that only knows small talk, it is so important! I am 35, still can't talk to my parents about serious things like my feelings etc. Been in therapy for 3 years now, still don't know how to do that because the subconscious learned behaviour of "not talking about things" is so strong.

it's so important to have empathy like you do... it's so extremely difficult to have kids on your own, and it's so stressful and painful to have your kids treat you that way and not have a break. The depression and pain she must be in is so sad. And her kids not having their other parent is also so hard for them.

I have amusing context for the Superinjunction rumor, partly cuz of my Mum; When Elton John's husband, David Furnish, took out a SuperInjunction over the affairs he was having (based on distress that could be caused to their daughters), the courts gave it generic intials in place of the person, but we did know it was an LGBT+ affair. In this case the intials were 'PS', so my Mum (thinking it was not random initials) thought it was Philip Schofield. Similarly people on social media did the same, which created the rumour - then everyone found out and circulated the real person(s) involved, but the seeds were sown. Thus when this Schofield stuff came out, that rumor resurfaced and it's not like anyone was gonna correct people, so it kinda stuck.
