Still early in the video, but! If you have 150 weeds on the island, no newly planted weeds will grow. If you really want them to grow, you can go find areas you want first stage/baby weeds in and pluck them- leave them to last

Can I just say how tickled I am you watered the weeds? :) Weeds randomly change in shape each time you plant them. So if you are looking for a specific weed type, pick them up and replant until you get the one you want. But depending on how many weeds you have on your island, they'll lose their variability.
