@@CamoSpecsOnline Actually, I just have had some interesting results with cotton sticks and Vallejo paints. Over the primed model (Vallejo’s Gray was my primer 74.641) I used German Fieldgray (70.830) to cover overall of the model (except some weapon parts/gunmuzzles). Then with 50:50 mix of Khaki (72.061) and bonewhite (72.034) I dry tapped with a cotton stick to make pattern. Over these patterns I gently dry tapped with another cotton stick colored with cayman green (72.067) to fade the edges between the khaki mix and base greenish-gray. I am still need to test out finishing touch of camogreen (72.031) with a sponge to make ”pixel pattern”.

I show the specific brushes, tools, materials I use in each video that pertains to each subject. Look back at some of the older content if you haven't already for mini prep, sculpting and the like. And funny you should mention the makeup brush as my next video recommends it as a much better option as a drybrush and stipple brush.

@@70rayvn Not a problem to ask. I don't know that mentioning the brands and such will be a good thing as buying a $20 windsor & newton brush doesn't make you a better painter. You may also be interested in the Jade Falcon Hellbringer tutorial around the 22 minute mark is a quick blue cockpit tutorial using shading washes.

is it possible to do this with a light and dark blue camo pattern
@CamoSpecsOnline Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. With contrast paints it seems to be best to do the lighter color first as I did with the brown before adding green. If you're not using a lighter blue, I'd suggest a very dark blue for the stripes so you can make out the pattern color difference when it's done.
