I’m a bass angler in upstate NY that discovered your channel about 4 years ago. I know nothing about rock fishing and all about bass fishing. But for some reason your channel and fishing videos are my absolute favorite. When you post it makes my day. Thanks Matts.

Matts I love the content, i fished lakes as a child, but not so much as an adult. I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 and spent 10 months in the hospital, I would watch your videos all day and night, amazing comfort and beautiful videography, both calm and exciting. I beat leukemia and am in remission, I’ve become a fresh water angler I kinda just realized that ultimately I owe you a thank you- as this content kept me sane in my darkest of times. I appreciate this channel more than you could know! Keep it up! I will too! Tight lines :)

@12:19 the 1/2oz Swimbait snagged. You gotta try the Battlestar XLS 1/2oz weighted Swimbait hook with the matching 5” rib bait. It won’t get snagged as much. And it’s the most weedless too. Awesome hooksets.

What an effort to get your limit, wow! The camera work all by yourself, well done. That is worth the drive from somewhere in the Western Sierra I presume. Thanks for the excellent fishing content, with cooking it also. This is worthy of network television I believe.

Bro love your vids so much!!! Keep em up. Notice you use a four piece travel rod. One old trick I learned long time ago… when assembleing your rod, rub your finger on the side of your nose or forehead, then rub it on the conditions. Keeps them seated all the way, and makes disassembly easier.

I can tell fishing from the rocks always draws the excitement out of ya, dude. Always a great watch. Btw, if you ran out of tray bait, I would’ve hoped you’d put on a nuclear chicken on a jighead under the bobber. I wonder if that would help lessen the chances of getting snagged.

Hah! Mats! That's my coast; I grew up just north of where you're fishing. Back when there were still big red abalone at low tide and still salmon in the ocean. The time before the seastar die offs and the urchin barrens (no sea otters- I'm not that old ;). Still beautiful though!

Nice 🎣 video 😊, glad to see that you court your limit 👏👏. Thow I wouldn't of used bobber stoppers, as a sliding knot will. Go through the rod rings easyer & , it so simple to tie.
@SunnyIlha2 ай бұрын
You can also use swimbaits and even large senkos (mimics gunnels) under the bobber. The wave action causes the bobber to "jig" yo-yo the swimbait. 😊

Then you have to hear hot the math worked out.. no man. The squril just smelled the pineapple. Thats it. lol. I have the same enjoyment when I have my grandaughters over for lunch. Its just a mess. They think they know what they mean but its mostly just rainbows an puppies. lol. Im not crapping on this guy. He is special. Im sure in a couple of ways. Its just.. the content. I don’t like trebles for trap hooks, I just use a J hook. My buddy uses a treble but cuts one of the hooks off making it a double hook. We both feel that a big fish can use its mouth or jaws on the extra hooks to dislodge the one that’s set.
