I don't care for peppers. But I'm thinking you could do the same thing we a pre-made baked potato! Or even a big portabella mushroom cap. I'm going ro have to try both I think.

YUM! Ive never thought about stuffed peppers like this, at home or on the road. I wonder how long they would take in a road pro portable oven.. I seldom eat eggs anyway but scrambled , I do like sunny side up or poached with the white just set and use the yolk as a dipping sauce, the critter gets the white. If Im taking eggs on a trip, non hiking, I break them into small water bottles and usually add an extra yolk per2 eggs, add a couple marbles from my slingshot ammo to scramble them really well..

Once had very large stuffed banana pepper. Stuffed with sausage..rice..tomato sauce. It was very good

Lookin good, Bear! Jacques Pepin did a video on a similar meal using poblano peppers on the stovetop, which he called huevos rancheros ... the French way!

They both looked really good. Either would be considered 5 Star camp chow. I believe the one on the grill would of worked at a lower temperature. Especially for longer time , if a person can wait that long. It's really appreciated all of these sacrifices you make taste testing these recipes for us. I know , hard work but someone has to do it. lol

I thought I was going to have to do without my 'bear" fix... Last night I fixed an omelet hash browns and sausage for supper. Stuffed peppers has always been a favorite of mine.

I didn't think charcoal lighter fluid would catch using a ferro rod? I'm gonna have to try that. Although I don't like bell peppers, the filling looked great. I always enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.
