Never thought I'd read a story about a gang brawl at a Christian camp! Billy's story is horrific! Hope he is doing alright now. Another strange story I read was guy & girl were going at it in a bunk and the guy wore a Ziploc bag as a condom!

Not a councilor- I was a camper. About four years ago, we were going to some generic YMCA camp in upstate NY. I was there with friends, it was pretty fun. About six days in on the two week trip, we woke up to find a cat in our cabin- just some random cat. Everyone freaked out, half worried about rabies and half wanting to pet it, and eventually we called a councilor. We spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what to do with it. We think it snuck in because of the cold, and it was now hiding under one of the benches near the door and hissing. The councilor decided to layer some sheets into a thick mat, put on a gardening glove, and pick up the cat to get it in the car and take it to the vet to search for microchips and other stuff. When they came back the next day with cat food, they announced that the cat was healthy and unclaimed. We spent the rest of the trip with the cat as a weird communal pet, and it got very agreeable and nice, no longer hissing, etc. At the end, the councilors told us that they did not really have a home for the cat. One of the kids decided to take the cat home as his pet, and his parents, who had been following the story, approved. I remember being on the bus and comforting this tiny spotted cat (it got carsick). that was strange- and fun.

I used to work for a BSA camp in 2019, and it was when BSA started accepting girls as members. So, the weirdest thing I ever saw was on the last week of camp, the transition became official, and a bunch if tween girls started showing up to a boy scout camp.

Regarding the freak circus incident. Fun fact: chimpanzees are some of the only KOS (kill on sight) animals in zoos. The zookeepers are told to try and tranquillize other animals like lions (surprisingly), but they immediately pull guns when a chimp escapes.

As a survivor of sexual assault, no the line of that's how he thought he was supposed to make friends, fuck no. He did those things and knew they were wrong because he wanted control, that's all. He abused people for control.
@Npyne
@Npyne Жыл бұрын
It's not entirely uncommon for children to re-enact their abuse on other children, believing it to be normal- especially if it starts from a very young age. It's rather presumptuous to make a blanket statement on what that boy's intention was, not everyone reacts to that (or any) trauma in the same way. Some people become adverse to romantic/sexual relationships, other go in the complete opposite direction. Some people end up addicted to substances or become the abuser while others seem to function as if nothing ever happened. He may have really believed that he could make friends that way but honestly, neither of us can truly claim to know what he believed or what he intended to do.

The summer of '20, feels like yesterday. It was a week long trip in Wisconsin, we were all from different churches in North Dakota. It was a kanoeing trip. The first two days were normal, everyone settling in, and just getting comfortable. Day three everyone was getting along, and having a great time. I forgot to say that these kids were 14-17, so it was awkward for some of them. Day four got kind of weird, everyone would go with a different partner every day, there was this one guy and one girl that got along really well. But I overheard them saying the different towns they were in. They were across the state from one another. If you don't know, North Dakota is a pretty large state geographically. They wanted to go together the last day, but had to go with each other on the fourth day. Since I was the main leader I would change from the front of the group to the back, and while I was making the switch the two were whispering to each other. I could just barely make it out. The girl, we'll call Jesse said "We probably won't see each other again, I say we should make the most of it." And me knowing teenagers, knew that this was not going to end well. Fourth night, I always walk around our sleeping spots looking for critters and such. But that night I just stood outside of a tent, that tent had a lantern on, the last lantern in the camp. The tent was about 80 yards from the rest of the camp, I don't care where the tents are at least if they're on the smooth land. I didn't know who was in the tent, but it was two people so I can only imagine who it was. But, they were having sex. They seemed to be some of the older people of the group, maybe 16. But the shadows were enough to tell what was going on in there. And even though they were so far away, they were trying to be quiet. But the girl had a long orgasm. And she moaned loud. By then I checked my watch and it was 12:30 A.M. We go lights out around 10 P.M. And they were still going at it hard. I normally don't let girls and boys sleep in the same tents, but it was a bigger group, and we had to live with it. The next morning I wake up and see Jesse and her new "Boyfriend" Come out of the tent. I just stood there in awe, I stayed quiet the rest of the trip. And now I keep track of everything. Also We sleep on the beeches of lake Superior the last night. Over the years of people making tiny little wooden huts from the driftwood, there were good privacy spots. Jesse and the boy asked if they could sleep in one together. I said no, but that night he snuck in and they had a good time. Still can't believe that happened, but I mean can't waste time. P.S I only stayed out of the tent just so I could make them stop, by like talking through the tent or something. But I just couldn't find the right time. And just sat there the whole time contemplating what I was going to do. Still can't think of it.

During my grade 6 camp there were about 130 children, the boys and girls had different entire buildings to sleep in with 8 people in each room with 2 teachers in looking around the rooms at the evening. The boys were talking for very long while they should’ve been sleeping and sometimes stuff they weren’t supposed to be talking about. In the morning once the teachers left I heard some scuttling in the boys’ hallways and it was the girls. The boys even hid behind corners to catch the girls in the act, during lunch every girl was given a huge talk (even though only 5 were involved)

I was a sports and activities director for a Y Camp and was responsible for hundreds of kids and counselors. The camp was on a large lake and most of the kids there had never been in nature at all. This was a “christian” camp being a Y camp but was made very clear in our rules that it was non-religious and non-denominational. Fine by me but here is where it gets weird as hell. The property was expansive and had areas that I would not step foot in even with snakeboots on. Somehow, this camp had a “resident” that lived in the woods named Aunt FeFe. She was a witch according to legend. As a group of counselors we brought the kids/campers into the woods at night supposedly “appease” Aunt FeFe and we were required to perform an almost seance-like performance to conjure Aunt FeFe. No shit. This included building a massive bonfire and rigging elevated wires from the trees with rolls of toilet paper that were soaked in diesel fuel, as was the bonfire. The fireballs of diesel-soaked-toilet paper coming down out of the trees and Aunt FeFe “appearing” after a series of spells and recitation was over the top and obviously very dangerous. This was diesel soaked bonfire that was less than 10-15 yards away from all the kids. When I voiced my concerns about the whole deal I was told to shut-up basically. The voice of Aunt FeFe was of course actor dependent and the second part of this is very disturbing. We had a camper with autism that was nearly non-verbal. The camp counselor that played Aunt FeFe chose to use the voice of the autistic camper. It was so clear the Y camp counselor was mocking the autistic camper that other campers were asking during the Aunt FeFe charade “why does Aunt FeFe sound like (name redacted)?” I confronted the Y counselor and the camp director and was once again told to drop it. I quit. I wrote a letter and met with the Y leadership about the incident and they did nothing. The camp counselor that openly mocked the autistic camper is now a school teacher. Aziz, you are a piece of shit.

I worked as an assistant to the counselors at a small camp close to my hometown. One boy at around 13 years old got kicked out the second day after constantly begging a girl to get naked in front of him so he could "love her". He did this out load for all of us to hear and didn't se anything wrong with it. The parents were foced to have him evaluated before school started again. It turns out he's basically a vegetable (extremely low IQ) walking around. Not surprising since his low level of understanding words was alarming. He never came back the following years but I did see him in town a couple of times, although then he was like a heavily medicated zombie. I hate it when parents try to convince others that their mentally disabled child is normal. He wasted so many years without proper help.

As a camp counselor, you have to deal with whatever happened. There was a camper that tripped and knocked over a boiling pot of water then fell into the water. Causing 2nd and 3rd degree burns down the back of his legs and groin. They said his groin was really bad, having sat in a puddle of boiling water. He was rushed to the hospital and then sent home. Heard it took a while to heal but was ok

18:36 yep. There are (many) stories from my camp like this and some go a bit further than blowies. Though I haven’t heard of explicitly teenagers doing the dirty. It’s also a camp for kids with cancer so most of them are sheltered and experienced the most freedom they ever had at this camp. I’m planning to start as a counselor there this summer.

This was the best vid from you I've seen My story isn't very crazy but it's still cool: So I was in a russian/jewish camp in estonia, on an island. There were kids from like 10 to 17 there. So it was an upper middle class thing, and most kids were from different european countries tho all spoke russian, so a lot of kids were spoiled, but in a weird way. Like they were drinking and smoking and fucking, so basically trying to be adults. And on the last day of the camp, something we called "King's night", like half the camp decide to leave the camp at night. Like 15 people weren't found by the morning and all the people that were found, were made cleaning up the tents. Oh I didn't mention but the camp was basically tents on a giant plain that were surrounded by the woods. There were some wooden houses and structures but they were used for sick people and counselors. So I don't even know what happened to the 15 people but there were a few people throwing up from drinking and 1 15yo girl was sent to the hospital because bad quality drugs. Yep, don't do drugs, unless you know their quality and how they work.

This place wasn’t really a camp but we were camping ig? Ok so this what happened: so me and my school we were in the camping area and staything there for 2 days and I went- (it was scary tbh) and me and my friends thought it was a good idea to go into the woods :’D (it wasn’t the type of scary woods) it was more of like a lot of trees, anyway we went through those and we saw this building in the distance and my other friends didn’t want to go that far away from the school, but me and 3 other people went closer to the building and then we went around it and there was all weeds growing into it and vines everywhere and I noticed a hole and I said “omg is that a hole in it?” And then one of them said “I think it is, ok right I feel like I’m in a movie, but uh ok let’s just go back now before a bear eats us” and we all laughed and then I said “yeah well it’s funny but we should go” and then we went, that was the weirdest thing and scariested thing that happened.

This wasn't at camp, but actually at a campsite my parents and I went to since I was a toddler. My grandfather had a cabin and a couple hundred feet through the woods we had a clearing that was perfect for RVs and tents. We only invited family and friends. Sad part is it's all completely true, and to stupid to make up. So, one year when I was 10, one night my mom had a few drinks, then she went into the woods to go use the bathroom. When she was squatting down, I SHIT YOU NOT, she fell ON A CACTUS ON HER ASS!!!! Then they put her on a table, my cousin Holly got some tweezers pulling thorns out of her ass, and my cousin Julie was recording it on her phone. She said, "I'm going to put this on KZbin." My mom shouted, " YOU BETTER NOT!" It's more funny than weird, but that was the weirdest thing I've ever seen while camping

I ain’t a camp counselor, but my story’s wild all the same. Oh. And I’m 12. Just so you know. Alright. Here’s my story! I can’t share this story on my animation channel until I’m 18, so at least I can share it here. I started going to sleep-away camps around 2 years ago. My first year, I was bunk mates with this pretty obese kid. We’ll call him…bob? Yeah. Bob. Anyway, I got to camp, and he was the first camp I met. I thought he was a potential friend. I liked him for about 30 minutes. He was VERY weird. Mostly with food. I will never get the image out of my head when he took an expo, scribbled on some chips, threw them on the ground, stomped on them, then scooped them all up and ate, and the worst part was that his shoes were caked in mud. Muddy expo chips. Gross. He was VERY entitled. After 2 days, I befriended basically the entire cabin except for him, and for the next 3 days I was there, because I was only staying for a week, he would constantly say that random stuff that either someone or no one owned, was HIS, like “tHaT tReE iS mInE!” Or, “I hAtE mY bEd! lEmMe UsE yOuRs!” He was so f**king annoying. So, to get back at him, I stole his beloved rock that he painted to look like a hamster. He tortured all of us trying to find it. Oh shoot. I’ve been talking about my first year at that sleep-away camp for too long. Here’s the actual reason why I’ve typed all of this: Last year, I asked for very specific people in my cabin. I literally got the exact opposite. All of my old friends went into one cabin, and literally the only person I DIDN’T want in my cabin…was in my cabin…BOB. Now that I think about it, I’m VERY glad he was in my cabin. Then I won’t have known about this situation. Anyway, this year, he just out of the blue revealed that he was bi. Nothing bad about that, but for some reason, he was worse then usually this year. Maybe he thought that now he revealed he was no, he became himself…a psycho pervert Karen. He would hit people, SPANK literally anyone, and be just a very entitled little fat bitch. But one day, he did something out of the blue, and this just wasn’t the icing on the cake, no no no…this was the entire BARREL of icing. Here it is: There was a little room in the back of the cabin. Probably the size of a big closet. He decided to make it is own room. The first sign was…Bob’s SEX dungeon. Like bruh. You gonna really name it that? That’s just f**king weird, kid, he renamed it to Bon’s casino, tho. And he traded those bands that am,e friendship bracelets. Anyway, there was this small kid in our cabin. He was a bit quiet and kept to himself, but everyone liked him. Bob probably liked him a bit too much if you know what I’m saying, because one day, he decided to F**KING RAPE THE SMALL KID. I mean, not rape. Unless you call dry humping with clothes on, and forcefully doing it rape. Bob fracking humped this kid. In most countries, that is probably a little bit of rape, which is VERY illegal. My friend told me all of this at lunch, and Bob actually tried to do it to my friend, too! Luckily he escaped. The small kid went home out of traumatization, and Bob stayed for about 2 more days before the counselors actually did something, which was send him home, and not accept him back. So now he ain’t coming back. That’s my story. A long story, but a good one. My parents found out, and were FURIOUS. They made SURE that Bob is never going back…hopefully. The end. If any of you are a stutterer, then come on down to good ole Camp SAY. A camp for stutters.

Went to a sleep away camp, and a kid needed to get stitches in his leg, he had his leg get caught in part of a . . . . . . . Generator I think? Yeah, was pretty bad

7:20 not a camp counselor or anything like that but have a similar story where me, my brother and our cousin found a dead bird in our front yard while playing me and my cousin are disgusted so we go dig a hole to bury the bird in we come back to my brother finger.ing the bird. Yep finger as deep as it can get me and my cousin were absolutely disgusted.

I've never been to Camp myself, but the weirdest thing i've seen with Scouts & Camps & Such is this? ---- Girls, actually wanted to join the Boy's Scouts, due to a Problem with the Scouts Leader ---- And it's just weird, because you'd think they would be less likely to join the Boy's Scouts ---- For this exact Reason, but yet that isn't the Case, & instead... It was the Girl's Scouts Leader --------- That was the Issue here... Which was just Odd & Weird To Me... That Is All I've Seen Weird...
