Discovered your channel through Joe Robinet, and love to watch this type of thing. I used to go wild camping when i was younger and plus used to attend motorcycle camping rallies. Cooking and enjoying the camping side. I wish i could still do it, but with a damaged back plus paralysed left foot, making wild camping not really possible. So watching it is the next best thing. Thx for the good videos.

Very similar recipe and result I had last week with baby backribs on the grill, using indirect heat, and sassafras in my smoker box. Nice smoke ring also. But now I have to find a slab of pork belly, already have the basket, and I will have to improvise a tripod over my firepit. I have some seasoned applewood and some maple for the smoky flavoring. Now I'm salivating, and it is almost midnight! Catching up on your vids, one by one as time allows. As always, stay safe. BTW I've used that wish for over 30 years already for family and friends.

Here in Texas the smoke ring is like a badge of honor. I usually have to use an enclosed smoker or grill to get it. You must have kept the temp 250 deg f or so for a while to get it. Good job. Tasty meal as usual!

I live in Alton with loads of fields and woods.... Seems like people don't like us kind of people asking it seems... any advice on where to go for a night or two down south? Peace
@KentSurvival6 жыл бұрын
yeah, its hard going finding a good place.. have you looked around your area for any local woodland coalition type things, there seems to be a few around and might be more willing. Im not too familiar with the South Downs, I had a bible around the Surrey hills last year and though that it looked promising for a stealthy camp.. not been back since though.
