It’s about time someone made a premade chuck box. Pretty pricey, but coming from someone their own box. It is an absolute game changer for camp packing. Our family has been able to do spur of the moment camp outs because everything is already packed in a Chuck box. If you don’t have one. You need one. Build your own or buy one of these

@@CandidZulu sometime in the 1600s pieces of wood, (think "how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" 🤣 and pieces of meat were called chucks (basis for Chuck roast or chuck steak or even ground chuck), so the box that was wood and carried the meat, became the "chuck" box, attached to the chuck wagon, which carried the cook that cooked the chuck meat from the chuck box on the chuck wagon 😂 confusing isnt it?!

Happy Sunday! How do you think it would do with a Coleman twin burner that has the propane connected by an angled foot long line. Mine has to sit beside it at an angle which would leave it outside of the box. I’d probably have to get a connector line instead. Cheers.

Happy Sunday bro! That’s exactly what my stove is. It’s got the angled pipe but I just hung it off the side. I know this is an older video but I’m counting on an answer to my question since I’ve noticed you always respond and I appreciate it. I’ve used mine plenty and love it but I’m afraid that in bear country it looks too much like a cooler and we all know about bears and coolers, have you tried it in bear country with no issues? I mean taking it out of the car and leaving it on the outside table. Any thoughts/suggestions other than using it in the car, I don’t want food smells inside.
@AdventureswithSpackmann2 ай бұрын
I kinda live in Bear country( black bear wonder my next of the woods) and where I camp there is always a possibility of them. This is by no means Bear safe. Have I had an issue with bears , no but it’s always possible. I’m assuming you may have food scraps from cooking on it right? I’d suggest just making sure it’s as clean as you can get it and hope for the best. Or leave it in the car when going to sleep. Thanks for watching

I checked out your videos and it seems your gear reviews tend to get more view than stuff like catch and cook type stuff. I don't know if you are trying to make a living off of KZbin but I feel you should have a ton more view than you do! I've been watching survival/bushcraft/bug out stuff since covid hit in 2019 and this is the first time I've seen any of your videos. You seem to be really consistent on producing content and you do put work in. Have you tried to reach out to other youtubers for a shoutout to move some more views your way?
@AdventureswithSpackmann Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words again. I am trying to make this my retirement. It’s helping pay the bills at the moment but that’s about it. Still hoping for a big break. It will happen, I know it. If a bigger KZbinr stumbles across my channel and wants to shout me out that would be awesome. I feel reaching out just wouldn’t be cool. I know Steve Wallis has seen some of my content on tik tok and I would love for him to mention me but that’s not his style lmao. I like to put videos out that I enjoy and gear reviews are fun but I camp and love showing that. Glad you are enjoying the channel. Loved this vlog!I looked at that particular chuckbox over and over, and ya, lil too costly for me. But got a kick of how you were able to land one! Oh- and thought I’d share: It is generally believed that a chuck box evolved from a chuckwagon. (Chuck and grub are both "cowboy" terms for food.) A chuck box, grub box, camp box and patrol box (scouting version) are all the same thing. en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Ch... Chuck box - Wikipedia
