Unfortunately I was only 9 in 97 but I remember listening to it back then and it always brings me back to the 90's. I'm old enough to where I still very clearly remembered pretty much everything about the 90s and the early 2000s of course. I'm not of this new world. I miss home so bad I'm so homesick. I would be riding in the passenger while my dad will be driving through the hood jamming. I wish he was still here to ride and jam with me again. He passed in 2015 while I was in prison and I still laugh while talking to him asking if he remembers letting me listen to these Legends. I can 100% say that my generation was the last of the old world and the last to have true old school parents. I come back to this music sometimes daily because I am stuck in that forever cycle of nostalgia. Nostalgia can sometimes be crippling mentally and emotionally. I'm a 36 year old man who's been to prison and has a kid and pretty numb when it comes to society these days and I'm sitting here crying typing this and reminiscing. Luchini was another classic and also Renee by the Lost Boyz.
