Growing up my mom and dad always used those big buckets (yours are yellow ours were blue) with the rope handles for us kids (toddlers) on the beach. They would fill them up with ocean water and put us in the shade to play in and splash and stay cool 🥰

The stores depend on the area I think. I've been in both a Ross and a Burlington that I LOVED, and I've been in both that were just plain disappointing. Kind of like the Targets and even grocery stores, some are better than others. Your kids are so lucky, and they're going to have such a fun summer!!! You're amazing!!!

Here's a cool craft I saw somewhere. Draw a simple picture with glue and sprinkle salt on that. Gently take off the extra salt. Use water colors to color the salt. We had to use a lot of water on the brush, but then gently touch the salt with the brush and the colors make a color line. We made butterflies, and flags for Memorial Day. So fun!

I use to work at Burlington. I can't say how happy I was when people would show up looking for a coat in 100 degree weather and they'd reply with "isn't this called Burlington coat factory"..to say..actually..it's just Burlington. You aren't aging yourself too much since they changed it around 2017😂😂 Ross is really similar to Burlington and I personally like it. But it's favorite Lol.

Cool video. Great hall. I got some fun summer form a pound store here in uk (prob equivalent of dollar tree). My order came today. 2 quitters that look like mini pool noodles, a Velcro catch game, an inflatable beach ball, a flying disk/frisbee thing. Annoyingly though the one thing I was looking forward to the most - an outdoor giant snakes and ladders (similar to shoots and ladders that you have in America) got cancelled. I got an email to say it had been removed & refunded because they were out of stock😠. I also got some other non summer stuff.
