I believe the cover of the box is a reference to Cub Scout Handbook covers where the human scouts are represented as animals. So the animals on the cover of the board game are actually human, and the different animals represent the different ranks that those scouts achieved.

Looks like you made a mistake and put the components title screen instead of overview

I don't know... I really like the cover.

Agreed.

Fleet Wharfside also has a ‘weird’ rule where you can only collect cards on one side and that’s a good game. Once you get to know the rules it runs smooth to me. It has similar mechanics to Vinyl which is another good game by Talon Strikes Studio. 😁

we enjoy it; light, fast game.

This review matches the impressions I got when looking at the kickstarter. I loved the concept, was very close to backing it, but the fiddlyness turned me off, and ultimately did not back.

I have played this multiple times and it is actually not very fiddly. If you ever get the chance, I hope you get to play this and try it for yourself. Not every game is for everyone and we all like different games, but in my opinion this game is much better than the review was here. But just my opinion.

@@theshogunstein6475 Absolutely, if I get the opportunity to play it, I will take it.

This review seemed quite rushed, not very polished. I've not watched TDT for a while and this is a little surprising.

COMPONENT DROP

I think his complaints are very nitpicky. A couple of house rules could fix these things if they’re that big of a deal.

It sounds like a fiddlier version of Fabled Fruit.

It is not like Fabled Fruit. You earn powers through your achievement patches!
@legoluigi4 жыл бұрын
@@thornar I was talking more about the core gameplay loop. The idea of moving to a different location and either performing an action or using cards to get objects. There is certainly more to it than Fabled Fruit, but based on Tom's review, that might not necessarily be the best thing.
