I was fighting the skaven and found myself in the east as Thorgrim, then went south to deal with a huge Skaven clan. They then came from the west and took Karaz-a-Karak after their third attempt, I sallied out and beat them twice before. I swallowed my pride and kept going with the campaign. Eventually, Thorgrim himself reclaimed our lost ancestral stronghold and we wiped the Skaven scum off the safe of the earth. Salute to all fellow Dawi.

This is why understanding when to use and not to use control large armies is important. Free meatshield army and you don't want to take it with you? Escpecially when there's not that many stacks incoming. You win these things usually before battles on the map, that's why learning the map shenanigans is important in getting better.

Funnily enough, it was at 5% (4 entities), so it wasn't wiped out at that point. I've no idea why Legend decided to suicide it instead of leaving it at the back since it had no combat value anyway.

if you mean in the battle, not on the campaign map. Next time you are in a battle hold down space bar, and on the right will be a bunch of options (like see vigour, see type of unit) and one of them will be to see the hero thing, to turn it on permanently just click the lock next to it.

If you put the Gyrobomber on the ground, will the AI try to use Menace Below on it? Then when the ability is triggered, you immediately put the Gyrobomber in the air? That's a good cheese if it works.

Back in the days you couldn´t land if there were no units to attack and setting the Gyrobomber to dive on the Menace Below is risky, sometimes your fliers take a while to get back up in the air and I think Legend was trying to keep those Bombers at full health before doing his shenanigans.

There was a previous battle he fought with bunch of Gyrocopters couple of days/weeks ago (named something like "I hate Chaos"). In that battle he tried landing them next to enemies several times to bait out units to move and fight them, but seems like the AI knows not to do that. It only tried to attack them if they were in melee and coudn't easily fly away. Of course it was Khorne - Skaven can be different but I would be suprised if they used menace below given the Khorne AI was not even willing to attempt to attack them.

They will use Menace Belows on Gyrocopters when they land, yes. Keep in mind that there's a ~10 second delay before you can go back up to the air so have an escape plan once the Menace Below has triggered; gyros can easily outrun(?) them though.

Otherwise, it seems like he genuinely enjoys fixing people’s save files (and teaching them at the same time). Honestly, I feel like the best way to learn the game is to watch his videos. Tretch is honestly good af. Now listen, this isn't just thr alcohol talking. The devastating flanked ability is probably my favorite one so getting that for his army is like a dream come true. And his buffs to stormvermin make them feel pretty strong. Tho his strongest buff is just being around the chorfs who spam slaves the entire game.

Legend and viewers, quick question, I have enough money to buy a Bundle for Warhammer 3 along with 5 DLCs (Blood for the blood god, ogre kingdoms, champions of chaos, forge of the chaos dwarfs and shadows of change), with the same money, I could buy the game without any DLC, along with Rome 1 Remastered and Rome 2 Ultimate Edition... In your opinion, what should I do here?

Depends on a lot! Do you like history or historical settings? Option 2, if not stick with TWW3. Also keep in mind, TWW3 requires TWW2 and TWW1 for the majority of its content. Either option will have hundreds of hours of content

@@guga7609 You can play it just fine. Its just that a lot of the lords ether need a DLC or owning the previous games to get them. You can look up a list of which game adds which lords easy enough. But TWWH 1 for example is like $6 aud rn so depending on WHAT races you want to play you might not even need them. Personally i like WH because of the greater mix and variety of units and mods it has. But if you want to re-innact some historic battles again it all depends on what YOU like the sound of the most.

I just got warhammer 3. My fav TW is shogun and 3K. So my fav TW have same army syndrome. But, this TW seems so diverse and i feel overwhelmed. Any tips?.

Just because there is variety, you dont *need* to use it if thats how you feel as of yet. If you come from historical, races like Cathay, Elves, Empire and Dwarfs are your friends. Standard melee, ranged, artillery and cav (minus dwarfs) lineup. Generally higher tier=better, so you cant really go wrong with updating your armies. Alternatively, you can go for melee-focused factions, like most of Chaos. Just have a variety of melee, cavalry and maybe single entities and monstrous infantry. Real easy to handle altogether, especially if you cut say cav, if you choose to. Id not recommend undead and most demons, as they crumble instead of routing. Nor low leadership factions like Skaven and Greenskins to start with. They also have just about everything, but a bit more advanced than the rest. Just dont forget magic. Useful, whether to heal or to deal damage. Buffs and debuffs generally not worth, only for character duels, or spells which have an area of effect instead of affecting a single unit.

I recommend experimenting around with different factions and sub factions as one factions mechanics may just not be fun to you at all.

Cathay (especially yuan bo dlc) and/or high elves are probably the easiest to come to terms with. In tww specifically ,Cathay can basically steamroll highest difficulty late game with just jade warrior (melee and ranged variants) + gate guardian spam (or just celestial dragon guard without the dlc). Leaves you plenty of room to riddle with the roster when your basic core troops are so cost effective and versatile

@@mdaen2857 Yeah, sounds like you need a sturdy army which stays in one place and can respond to any threat. Thats Dwarfs, Cathay and Kislev. Alternatively you can try spamming single entities aka 'doomstack', but that takes a bit to get to, and can quickly become boring, too.
