Selenium, Vitamin E, Viatmin D are all important minerals we look at, including probiotics/prebiotics/yeasts.. many more. We then have a set amount to feed a cow a day eg 215 gram a day. x this by group size eg 110 cows being fed x 215g, that would then be fed in the ration which will include other things like grass silage and concentrates, which again we have to calcuate what nutrients these provide to make a balanced mineral package. I take Masgnesium Glycinate (200 mg Magnesium) daily also which helps optimise Vitamin D Metabolism and continue to take the Supercoenzyme B Complex from Wellness Resources. The study from Spain that used calciferol, although small, 103 patients I recall, was available very early on in the pandemic. It had excellent results. All these other studies that used D3 pills were designed to fail imo. It’s an extremely well known fact that it takes 2-3 weeks for D3 to be available to the body as you mentioned. It’s inconceivable that researchers designing these studies did not know this. It’s one of the areas of the pandemic I believe should be investigated, researchers that did this should be held accountable. These studies were designed to fail. People died because of those studies.

Thank you John for highlighting the usefulness colecalciferol. I am a 76 year old woman and was a doctor in NHS. Over 10 years ago I developed very painful feet and saw specialists but no explanation given. I must have read about the importance of vitamin D and I was found to have rather low levels of vitamin D. My GP put me onto colecalciferol 2 x 400 IU capsules once a day. The pain disappeared and I am on this daily dose ever since. I am not aware of having had Covid and or any serious infections over the last 10 years. I have had all the Covid vaccines and last year was found to have cancer of the lung and cancer of the breast : I am not a smoker but husband is and one of my aunt’s died of breast. So vaccine induced ?? Who knows. The resistance of NICE to calciferol 26:47 is in my view due to our strong ties with the US and big Pharma: it’s too cheap and dare I say ill people need more expensive drugs and vaccines and the US is buying our NHS. Terrible!

In Australia they snuck in a down-regulation of calcifediol from f4 to f3, provided it was no greater than 10mcg; hence available over the counter. When I asked for it at the chemist, was told I needed a prescription. But on the shelf I found a Swisse fast acting vit D3 (calcifediol monohydrate)10mcg, x200. So it's now in my first aid kit. 53 tabs day 1, 27tabs on days 4, 7 and 14 if I come down with a serious infection. Unfortunately all the ones in the store had a use by date from the previous month bar one bottle, with only 5 months to go. Still, better than nothing! Thanks to you both for this very helpful information. Much love and gratitude.

That was brilliant. Now I truly know about vitamin D. Vitamin D takes two weeks to get through the liver and be processed into the infection killer stuff. But you can skip the liver process and go straight to "the infection killer stuff" if your doctor will write a prescription for it for you. In desperation, if you are refused, you could always go to a cattle farm and ask the farmer for a scoop of the stuff that he gives to his cows and just sprinkle that onto your shredded wheat. (only in desperation)

There is a widespread misunderstanding that "Vitamin D" is a nutrient. It's actually a prehormone (cholecalciferol) that's normally synthesized in a self-regulated manner in human skin in a "natural" (pre-industrial) environment. It's also *not* a significant component of most human diets. This is why "vitamin D supplementation" is actually a form of hormone replacent (i.e., a pharmacological intervention) that should be implemented based on routine blood tests, not based on notions of "recommended dietary allowances".

The calcifediol tablets cannot be bought in my country Sweden. (You did ask.) But I am careful taking my vit D-tablets regularly since some years back and I was lucky enough to have my levels tested recently by a (enlightened!) doctor and found it to be 187 nmol/L. This was considered a bit unneccessary high - 150 should be fine - and so I am now lowering the daily dose from 10 000 IE to 5 000 IE. Thank you both for extremely valuable information - always! ❤💚❤
