I’m a ten year stage 3 colon cancer survivor. At my oncologist’s recommendation, I’ve been on a vitamin D regimen since my remission in 2014. A side benefit has been a reduction in common colds by around 75-80 percent. I’m a firm believer in this study!

Another thing that helps even more with cancer prevention and also recovery, is some extended fasting. Also helps with the problems many develop after taking chemo. On top of all that, it makes you metabolically more healthy meaning your vit D levels will also go up over time. For many people they are quite hard to raise, otherwise.

I love John. But he still called people in the know about covid and the vaccine conspiracy theorists. While guiding people to take the vaccine. I'm not a doctor but seen enough evidence to know he was sadly mistaken. When you meet the doctor who worked alongside fauchi for 20 years on the virus and vaccine, I would say they have credibility and are clearly not a conspiracy theorist. I'm not a doctor, but I understand the bodies immunity system works very well. It's far better than the vaccine. I love John, and he finally caught on and speaks the truth, but I keep an eye on him. He was in the beginning misleading masses of people to life-long problems. That's pretty serious.

I've been taking 5000 to 7500 IU per day for the last 8 years. Did a physical last April and my doctor phoned me after my blood work results came in. He said he was very concerned about my PSA levels. I was at 9.6. He scheduled me to re-do the test a few weeks later to rule out infection. The next PSA test came back at 14.2 . He immediately sent me to a urologist who repeated the test a month later. It came back at 13. Now I'm doing MRI's and biopsy. So much for vitamin D. What a crock that was.

@@schmingusssVitamin D would be beneficial for many reasons, imo. However it is not a miracle drug that can cure or prevent all diseases incl cancer, obviously. Nobody that I know of has ever claimed such a thing. A few weeks ago dr Campbell made a video about Fenben for cancer. (Fenbendazole) I would check that video out. The anti cancer properties of Ivermectine and Fenbendazole are recognized for many years already. Again, no miracle drug, but many very positive effects have been reported. The side effects are usually mild, if any, and these drugs are very safe in the correct doses. Fenbendazole may have slightly less side effects and is freely available on the market as a pet dewormer, I heard people take 300mg daily, but it can depend on your body weight and there are different strategies but 300mg seems to be a rather substantial but safe and effective dose. Ivermectin is available on doctor's prescription, if your doctor agrees to it. I would 100% try these if I were effected by this disease. Remarkable results were reported specifically with prostate and colon cancer. I wish you the best and hope for a complete recovery.

I have been taking Vitamin D3 supplements since I started watching your channel in July 2020. This news about reduction in prostate cancer is a complete surprise and fantastic news for me. I was successfully treated for prostate cancer in 2014. It does not mean immunity forever, however. Just being realistic. The last time, I tested 41.5 ng/ml (x 2.5 = about 103 nmo/L ) for Vit D3 at the end of December 2021. I will keep up this Vitamin D3 intake (and added K2 last year) and increase the dosage, since I was taking a fairly low daily dose of 2500 IUs. I am so thankful for your solid, dependable information. I will be sharing this video post to many friends.

Fasting can help a great deal with cancer prevention, which is largely a disease of metabolism, inflammation and hypoxia. It is also difficult or even impossible to have a high level of vit D if you are metabolically unhealthy, and the quickest way to achieve that is to do a small amount of extended fasting! Some of the many benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: Blood clotting is reduced and blood clots and arterial plaque are reabsorbed into the body. High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting. Fribrosis/scarring is reversed over time. Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy. Stomach acid is reduced over time while fasting and can allow for the healing of treatment resistant ulcers, but some patients may need continued acid reducation medication while fasting. Telomeres are lengthend and fasting also increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors. Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion of bacteria, plaques and viruses by the immune system. It will also remove any 'foreign material' that is not supposed to be there. Reflexes and short term memory are increased. Fasts from 36-96 h actually INCREASE metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release! After 72 hours or more fasted, your body recycles as much as 1/3 of all immune bodies and creates new ones, rejuvenating your entire immune system. Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures. Thymus is regenerated, which suppresses aging and renews the immune system. The thymus also plays a vital role in fighting cancer. Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue! The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting. Blood sugar and insulin are lowered, allowing white blood cells to move more freely throughout the body and do their job. Ideal blood sugar is around 80. Some viruses activate glycolosis (the release of sugar in the body) and clinically it has been shown that decreasing glucose metabolism in the body weakens the influenza virus. When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell which are used to produce organelles and proteins. This means the mechanisms needed by viruses to replicate are by and large unavailable when you are in a deeply fasted state. What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast, though if the amount is tiny you will go back into ketosis very quickly. Most teas and herbs are OK. Most supplements and meds will either break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many medications are dangerous to take while fasting so you may have to talk to your dr. about discontinuing them during a fast. The hormone Leptin is an immunomodulator that keeps the body from attacking itself and obesity causes leptin resistance. Fasting very quickly reduces leptin resistance and leptin levels and one day of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half and gets your immune system working properly again! Does the body preferentially prefer glucose as a fuel? No, except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns fats in the form of free fatty acids. Your brain also prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal quantity to glucose. Fasting stimulates the AMPK complex and activates autophagy. Autophagy (literally self eating) will cause cells to recycle foreign matter such as viruses and kill cancerous and senescent cells. AMPK does many helpful things in the body including activating the body's antioxidant defenses. Deep ketosis virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body. This can offset the life threatening symptoms of viral pneumonia which effectively kills you through inflammation. This also creates BHB ketones in your body, which help your immune system and anti-oxidative system, especially in the brain. When not in ketosis, the brain can only burn carbohydrate, which produces a great deal of damaging ROS the brain has to deal with. It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency and thereby making cells better able to fight off infection. Increased mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism and cancer prevention! When you fast, this stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, which destroys them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer. Fasting also releases BDNF and NGF in the blood which stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth. This can help a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers. In fact, the biochemical regulator of BDNF production is beta-hydroxybutyrate, which is the same ketone the body produces to nourish the brain while fasting. Fasting also increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level. A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row also provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and extremely low carbs. Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, making it easier in healthy people and allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia. Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors or certain forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis. Those with Addison's disease may also be unable to fast without liberal use of exogenous ketones, depending on severity. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness then simply break the fast and seek advice. His brothers cancer went into remission due to the pycnogenol. A professor at Nottingham university was amazed how pycnogenol had cured the cancer. My dad started taking it and he lived a further 20 years and died at the age of 87. The professor knew it worked but couldn’t prescribe it as its a herb. My dad also told a few people he met at the hospital who had prostate cancer and the same happened to them. Please if you have prostate cancer try it, it might just save your life.

When the authorities were trying to scare the hell out of everyone in early 2020 about the risks of Covid-19, I started looking for some kind of intervention that could help prevent me from getting the virus. I'd always heard of vitamins, of course, but had never really had much interest in them. I discovered vitamin D3 and vitamin C, then zinc, quercetin, and vitamin K2. I now take those every day, and for the past three years I have not had as much as a single sniffle. I chose not to take the covid-19 injection, and I've never felt better. I turn 73 in August. 🙂

Fasting can help your vit D levels because when your insulin level is high your body not only uses it very quickly but it also becomes locked up in the fat cells and unable to move through the body. Some of the many benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: Blood clotting is reduced and blood clots and arterial plaque are reabsorbed into the body. High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting. Fribrosis/scarring is reversed over time. Fasting increases nitric oxide release. Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building. Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility, especially in women with PCOS. In hospital for three days to get a transfusion ( I was below the 80 threshold) on the afternoon of the transfusion I was told by the doctor "your blood count has shot up to 88 so you do not need the transfusion and can be discharged" with regular blood tests my count has now recovered to 127. June 24 " Almost Normal" said my Dr . I am delighted. I had pestered for a Vit D test and this same blood test gave the result 108. The hospital acknowledged it gave me no medicine and all I have done is take my daily Vitamin D tablet with my breakfast. I also take vitamin C and folic acid tablets for other reasons but Dr Campbell I think I owe a huge thankyou to you for your suggestions through your podcasts. Turmeric is an oxalate. Did your ancestors take it ? If so then eat a little of it. The best thing to do is to behave like a human and that includes eating human food. Don't eat Seed Oils, Sugars, Carbs nor Processed Foods. Get good sunshine every day, exercise and good sleep. What you need is the above and Keto / Ketovore and get the Autophagy and Ketones happening with One Meal a Day and IF. Best channels are Dr Sten Ekberg, Dr Eric Berg, Dr Jason Fung and Dr Ken Berry. Fasting will also help a great deal with COPD. And it also helps raise your vit D levels by making you metabolically more healthy! I started taking 2000IU of Vits B1, B12, C, D, plus Spirulina toward the start of the last couple of years (guess why !), have had no colds, and the stabilisation of my PSA. I have normally taken Vit D, but, over the last three months, had Vit D3 - coincidentally! Good Luck to any Men out there, battling or freshly diagnosed, you are not alone, there IS Hope and Future. Thank you Dr John. I spread the word about Vitamin D + K2 to all I talk to, especially doctors. Most doctors still think that Vitamin D causes problems with the arteries. How about addressing that in a video.

The doctors are probably worried about calcium depositing in the arteries. That is eliminated when you take D3 with K2.

I listened to your advice on Vit D 2 years ago. I have been taking and still take 4000 iu + K2 since that time. I have a bit of feedback for you. In Dec 21 my Vit D blood test came back at 94nmol/L which I was happy with. I would prefer it to be around 120. I have just had the Vit D blood test again. This time for about 3 months before the test, nearly every time I went out to work in the yard I took my shirt off, previously I left my shirt on. So April 2023 my levels are 174 nmol/L. I find that absolutely incredible. So at my best guess I am out in the sun for maybe 3 hours a week [minus my shirt] Not wearing a shirt is the only difference. My location is Queensland Australia.

Love you Dr Campbell, appreciate the journey you're taking here. I've watched your willingness to face all turnarounds of viewpoint with grace and dignity as you gradually worked through the data and evidence . I wish those in positions of power were more like you! My own wake up really took a 180 post Great Barrington declaration in 2020. I was often frustrated with you up until the point at which I could see your realisations on the clear bias of medical and media interests. I've dug deep now for over 15 years, so I had a feeling something like Covid was on the horizon.. Our world is extraordinary, but it needs our informed participation to make it into the place we all want to live. Ignorance & blind obedience, just leads us down a dark path.

Guys please also get regular PSA blood tests. I am a prostate cancer survivor having being diagnosed 2022 at the young age of 50. No symptoms at all, just heard about taking a blood test on an awareness campaign. That ended up saving my life! I have read about vit D and prostate cancer which is really good but my main message is early diagnosis saves lives. 1- 8 men will get prostate cancer 1 -4 if you are black. on average 50,000 men in UK are diagnosed with PC. Almost half of these are caught late at stage 3 or 4. 12,000 men in the UK die each year of PC which is around 1 every 45 minutes 500,000 men are living with or after prostate cancer. UK offers NO SCREENING!! All men 50 years or over are entitled to a PSA blood test. This does not diagnose cancer but a higher reading would need investigation. Many things can be causing a high PSA but equally nearly all cancer diagnosis start with a PSA. Do this regularly once every few years. Catch it early like I did and you have plenty of options and would be looking at curative treatment.

@@00dioniz00 due to my age I took surgery by di vinci robot. A radical prostatectomy. Radiotherapy was offered but not recommend due my my age and a small increase of chance for secondary cancer later down the line like bowel cancer that runs in my family. Surgery was quickest way for me to be cured and back to normal life. I feel normal in every way other than I lost some erectile nerves for clear margins and as a result I can no longer get it up. Thank you. This is so important. It is known that many people in the northern parts of the globe have a shortage of vit D in winter and I suspect also in summer. Not all people receive enough sun shine and many people do all they can to block the sun from reaching the skin for fear of skin cancer.

A study published on the NIH website in the US concluded that the minimum daily requirement for vitamin D is 8,000 units per day instead of the previously recommended 2,000 units. Of course, public health officials in the US have never announced this generally to the public most likely because they are subservient to the pharmaceutical industry.

I personally take 8000 u.p.day in winter, 5000 in summer (+vit.K,+ zinc ). On a summer day, in bathing suits, your skin produces about 10 to 12,000 units Vit.D during 20 minutes in the sun (according to a Swiss study)

I’ve known for decades after reading about a study, perhaps the first to show how a supplement can prevent the likelihood of any cancer, that showed injections of vitamin D3 25OH (output from liver measured by blood test) had a greater than 70% correlation with reduced colon cancer incidence. Now this study shows more benefits. I knew a person who avoided sun and didn’t take supplements, and died from colon cancer at age 47, and it was not in the family history. I know the personal reduction of colds and flu incidence and severity.
