U r a great teacher... On what basis Alpha and beta cells decide the glucose in the blood is hyper and hypo? How the alpha and beta cells know the correct value of glucose required in the blood?

Glucose does not enter into mitochondria! It's transformed through glycolysis into pyruvate in the cytoplasm. It's the Py that will be oxidised in the mitochondria.

I am using the Ambrosia BluCon with the FreeStyle libre over 2 years, and getting exactly same readings as the Libre Reader. Also I don't need to scan my reader every time as the Linkblucon app gives me updates in every 5 minutes.

Sir,why is diabetes insipidus and diabetes mellitus given separate names when the excess blood glucose are excreted in urine in both cases How can the two be differentiated?
@Campbellteaching
@Campbellteaching 4 жыл бұрын
No, thats not correct. The urine in diabetes insidious has no sugar it it, just large volumes of dilute urine.

Diabetes insipidus is usually caused by lack of the antidiuretic hormone from the posterior pituitary gland. It is one course uncommon whereas diabetes mellitus is very common.
