Thanks and it is! Especially for the price and it’s something from this region that’s actually available, I don’t know what it’s like in the US right now but for the UK market, getting hold of anything springbank related is so difficult for a good price. A distant bonfire, I like that… I might steal that for a future review! 😂 I did! It feels pretty nice to be honest that 500 people have thought my videos were decent enough to click subscribe and watch again :)

Anothet really good H2H comparison. Well done. You surprised me with final score. I like both but for me KK all day long simply because KK12 is twice older and more matured just fantastic whisky. Bit strange what i tell you now but i prefer KK12 over SB10. Glad i have back up. Was waitng for menton of engine oil because i get it as well. Just curious you taste mushrooms like Jeff(whisky) says in his review? I sipping Loch Lomond12 last night and of course get engine oil as always what i personaly like but last night for first time i get the mushrooms taste so uts funny. Maybe because last couple drams left in a bottle and its solid aerated. Enjoyed your War as always M8. Slainte 👍😁🥂🙋🏻‍♂️

Thank you, I appreciate it! I went with the loch due to the unavailability of the KK in my area at least and I was so surprised with the loch, I really like it but for the same price and availability then I agree with you, the KK would have this one in the bag. The engine oil is weird to talk about haha but it’s definitely there and it makes Campbeltown whiskies one of my favourites purely for that note. I don’t personally get mushrooms from memory but I’ll pour a glass tonight just to double check! But Jeff makes incredible content so I wouldn’t doubt him too much, thanks for dropping by :)

@@WhiskyWars cheers. One more word about C.loch. your CL like mine (because of the pale colour) is the old version. I bought mine last year, you at the begining of 2023 but there is never version released more less summer time this year. The ratio is more sherry and colour is darker. Didnt try yet but watched review one of my favourite channel and he says its better, more matured and less spirit driven. 😁🥂🙋🏻‍♂️

Its me again. Just received offer from Cadenheads. There is KK 14yo 55.8% from Bourbon Hogshead for £70. 🤷‍♂️🥂🙋🏻‍♂️

Thanks for watching! Definitely worth a buy if it’s affordable in your area. I have been informed though in the comments that there’s a new one this year that’s more sherried so there’s two different ones out there and the only way to tell is by the colour which I wasn’t aware of

Great review! I love KK12, so now I propably have to buy a bottle of Campbeltown Loch. You seem to have the old KK12. It would be nice to see you comparing it with the new one. The new (”the fat bottle”) is a completely different creature. Much more funky and sherried.

I love them both. Great whiskies . CL has a most of kilkerran in a blend but there is some glen Scotia whisky as well . Cheers

Thank you, I think all 5 malts are in there but that wouldn’t surprise me that it’s mostly kilkerren and glen scotia. I just love the price and how accessible it is for people to buy. Cheers! 🥃 I can never seem to find kilkerren anymore for a good price unfortunately
