Camper x PYRATEX®

For Spring/Summer 2022, we teamed up with PYRATEX® to create our new Calma socks using seaweed and wood pulp.
Developed in Spain, our Calma socks are knitted with PYRATEX® yarn, a 30% seaweed-based fiber with antioxidant properties that eliminate free radicals.
Sustainably sourced from the fjords of Iceland, seaweed is rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, which can help relieve skin irritation and inflammation.
After harvesting, the seaweed is washed, dried, ground, and mixed with TENCEL™ Lyocell, a unique solution composed of wood pulp from certified sustainable sources.
PYRATEX® is a carbon-neutral textile made exclusively from sustainable raw materials and the company’s patented process preserves seaweed’s original properties, ensuring none of the benefits are lost during the production process.
