Glad your videos started to come up in my algorithm again. Scary how alike we are traveling and doing the nomad thing full time, Sept 9th will be 6 months on the road for me I hit the road at 59 in a Ford 350 super duty xlt extended with a medium top chilling in elevation waiting like you to visit and hang in Quartzsite and see what's up as soon as the weather breaks down there, Here's a money saving tip don't put sugar in your coffee just dip your finger in it😉

Always enjoy your videos Phyllis. The countryside is magnificent. Sorry you were vandalized but at least you, Buddy, and your little insect are safe. I was camping north of Durango in the mountains during June and it was really cold. Picked up a third blanket at a thrift store the next morning. Enjoy life. Interesting that you have spent that many days and nights strictly in your van. Good for you!

That's a gorgeous area of Colorado to be in. It brings back some great memories to ride with you through that area, If you continue out towards La Junta, the Rocky Ford farm stands will have lotsa fresh veggies and melons available. Safe Travels....

please be careful! there are many good people around but all you need is one bad one to mess or endanger your life. don't allow your loneliness to guide your judgement--pls don't fall into the same habit of trouble that had plague your past. live different by thinking different. i thought living in a van is to get away from having to take care of people--when you hook up with the wrong ones, you'll back stuck in the same kind of hole as before.

Lol. I taught land navigation in the military years ago & understand how easy it is for even good navigators to get lost, not to mention tenderfeet. I would only arrange a rendezvous at a well identifiable point, especially with someone you don't know and have confidence in their abilities to navigate in large areas like dispersed camping out there.. "Bully"? You probably dodged a bad companion anyway. Happy trails!

Am always worried about leaving stuff at a camp, this has kept me from going to town more as am disabled and having g to pack it all up just to run to town is hard, am currently just outside Salida Co. Myself up in the Savano Mt area. Hope your travels go well.

Thanks I went through Salida a few weeks ago.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them. It is fortunate that he was quite a distance away. If it escalated to that probably better not to be in close proximity. Didn’t help that you were vandalized too. Better times ahead!
