It was just before Gabrielle hit Auckland. We had to run away from that area earlier than our plan. Nature moves us around lately. Hope all is set for now and no more damage from our mother nature.🤞

Cheers Steve, yeah quite happy with it so far. Still lots to learn - Turns out that towing and backing up a caravan isn't quite as easy as driving a bus and towing a small car :)

Hi Stu, yeah we used to go to camp at the Awhitu Regional Park a lot back in the days. It's so close to Auckland and yet so remote and isolated. Almost feels like you're on the South Island somewhere :) Not many people go out this way.

❤ I love this area! We used catch flounder by the regional park at night time with spears. Korean BBQ is the ultimate camping feast 🎉I think. Of course it would be better if we had a fresh fish for tea😂

@@bbadomi 송어 낚시 첨엔 끈기가 필요한거 같아요! 바다낚시 처럼 운으로 잡기는 어려운거 같아요! 근데 감 잡으면 쉽고 손맛 느끼기엔 최고에요! 개인적으로 먹는건 별루 안좋아해용! 기름이 많이서 빨리 질리고 어디서 잡느냐에 따라 맛이 완전 달라서요! 보트없이 그냥 쇼어낚시도 재밌는데 작은 고무보트에 작은 엔진있는 보트있으면 안정맞춤이에요! 카약두 좋구요! 곧 송어 잡으시는거 채널에 올리시겠네용 ^^

Hi there. Just loved the video clip. Is this camp setup a replacement for the camper bus? Those sunglasses you wear in this clip ...is this "over glasses" that you wear over your reading glasses? Cheers Johan

Hi Johan, yeah we sold our bus. Thought we try out caravanning for a while ;) We had the bus for more than 6 years and thought it was time for a change. Yeah those are just cheap bifocal sunglasses. I don't wear them over my other reading glasses. It's a real pain not being able to see stuff up close anymore. I gotta find a better solution.
