Camping at Cape Blanco Oregon State Park on the southern Oregon Coast

Visiting Cape Blanco Oregon State which is located between Bandon, OR and Port Orford, OR on the southern Oregon Coast. Hiking on the cliffs which rise over the Pacific Ocean and hiking to view the Cape Blanco Lighthouse. Also hiking along the Oregon Coast Trail to visit the beaches ion the north and south sides of Cape Blanco.

I go that way every year on my way back from Alaska to CA. I'll have a look. Though I have a hi top van and travel with it a lot, this is one of the very few camping channels I watch. Calm, informative, good photography. Thanks.

Glad you like the video. Drones are great for a solo traveler, they allow you to get a lot of shots you wouldn't otherwise be able to get.

Great video of a beautiful area. You sure lucked out with the weather. I visited the lighthouse back in 2014, but camped at Bullards Beach . Keep up the interesting videos! Safe travels!

Ralph, thanks for the comments. Yes, spring weather can be quite variable on the coast. It did rain some during my visit, but l didn't get video of that. I try to stay at least a few days at the places I visit so that there is a chance I will get some OK weather. The Cape is well known to often be quite windy, but it wasn't too windy during my visit.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I am very much a novice with the drone. I haven't used much hand launching. I usually try to lauch/retrieve from a hard surface. On the beach, I tend to use wet sand which seems to minimize flying sand
