The campsite looks wonderful. Getting cold there now I imagine. Great video, bugger you think caravans might find it hard there arghhh

Yes, Clancy’s a bit smaller and has sloping areas, and manoeuvring around amongst the trees could be a little tricky, especially if there are a few groups camped there. However Emu Creek Camping Area would work for you as there is loads more space and it’s not so sloping. There were a couple of caravans at Emu Creek the day we visited. We had perfect weather, and yes the nights were getting a bit chilly on the Range. Thanks for watching Jon and Tracie.

Do you have a portable loo in the tent beside the camper?
@RoaminWithTheRubesАй бұрын
Hi Colin, yes we do for camping trips. Sometimes in very cold places, or wet weather we will leave the portapotti in the camper overnight. We have a Thetford and it is great, have a video about this on our channel. No odours, no leaks on rough, corrugated roads. Thanks so much for watching. Cheers, Lea and Joe.

@@RoaminWithTheRubes No worries, that gets around the "fully self contained" rule then, that's good.

Is buddy allowed at the Nat park camp site?
@RoaminWithTheRubesАй бұрын
Hi Steve, Buddy was allowed to camp here at Clancy’s Campground in Benarkin State Forest. A number of State Forests in Queensland allow dogs to camp, but must be on a lead. Emu Creek Campground which is also in Benarkin State Forest allows dogs on lead in the day use area, but not in the campground. My understanding is that dogs are not allowed to camp in any Queensland National Parks. Always a great idea to check when you do your online booking. Not sure what the rules are in other States, but I think they vary. Thanks so much for watching. Cheers, Lea and Joe.

$29 per ‘family’ per night to camp in the bush is no bargain!

We just love bush camping in National Parks and State Forests and for us they represent great value. If you have a favourite camping spot that is a bargain, we'd love you to share it in the comments. Thanks for watching, Lea and Joe.
