Camp Margaritaville was a treat for us, we love anything with a beach/island vibe and this place certainly does!

Very nice, manicured yards, and as you said- a nice check in process. I really like the Buddy sites, we always camp with my brother and his wife. This is not the kind of place we usually go - we like a rustic vibe, like a state park . I really enjoyed your review.

Nothing like RV travel day and what you might encounter. At least the water wasn't super scary. The restore. It was absolutely beautiful and stunning. And you're right, the price you paid per night for all the amenities at that campground is reasonable. Our question is or maybe you've done a video on it already is compared to the price of this, is it more expensive or les expensive than what you guys normally pay. We of course are Thousand Trails members but we also do coes City cams state parks, national parks fairgrounds whenever we have to pay. Another super great video, you both look great.

The place was always packed before they sold it recently. The community is still protesting it in a sense which is why hardly no one is there, but they are doing a good job upgrading things, but it's much more expensive. Regulars just take a long to accept change. I did enjoy the review. I'm local.

I wouldn't stay in a covered site, as it would block my solar production. I do like the covered check-in though. Besides, the 4,400-watt Solar array racked 15" off the roof of our motorhome creates a nice shade, reducing the heat load on our air conditioners so no additional shade is needed. We also have a 620-watt liftable solar array on the side of our motorhome that shades our bedroom window too. With our awning out we're completely shaded. We are FTers who are domiciled in La Place, Louisiana, and though we've passed through Breaux Bridge many times, we've never visited Margaritaville. It looks a little pricy for our budget, but then again, we prefer the freedom of boondocking. We are entirely self-sufficient for at least 2 weeks before we must dump and fill. We have sufficient solar and batteries to run all the appliances in our motorhome, including both A/C units, just like we were plugged into a power pedestal at an RV park. We're in NC now, visiting family where boondocking sites are pretty scarce. However, we found a nice RV park that's letting us stay in a spacious, no hook-up site for only $100/mo, saving us $500 a month off their normal FHU rate. Though we do enjoy a good margarita from time-to-time, travel with a beautiful parrot, and enjoy the late, great Jimmy Buffett, I can't say we're actual Parrot Heads. We love the area, especially during crawfish season. Laissez les bon temps rouler, mon cher! Aaeeeee! 🦞🦞🦀🦀🦐🦐🍻
