In 1972 I was stationed at NAS Glynco which is now the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. As a young Marine I gathered a lot of great memories of Brunswick, St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island. When we were lucky to get a 72 hr pass we'd sky down to J'ville for some fun

@@TollesonLife at the time the locals still hosted the debutant balls at some of the mansions that were the summer homes for East Coast "Aristocrats". They would tap some of us Marines to act as escorts for their young lady's coming out parties. Oh the sacrifices we made for God and country.

The driftwood beach at Jekyll island s great. The downtown area and campground om jekyll island are great too. The sea turtle rescue there is great we got to catch a Sea turtle release at the beach. It's a great island for biking around everywhere.

Good video. Was there this past year and stayed at the Jekyell Island Campground. You got to do the Carriage Ride, see the Sea Turtle Center and rent a golf cart to travel around the island.

Coastal Georgia is a nice park. That was our northbound and southbound one night stop to and from Maryland to Florida. We moved to Florida permanently several years ago so the next time we go there it'l be for a long weekend so we can explore the area more. The only down I have is the roads are kind of narrow making it tight to get our rig and tow in and out. Doable but a little uncomfortable. By the way, thanks to you guys we've we have a reservation for Destin West RV resort this coming may. Hopefully we'll hook up some time and we can tell war stories. Until then, enjoy your journeys and thanks for posting!

RevRider, we have throughly enjoyed those bikes. They are 7 speeds but could have easily gone with 3 speeds. We rarely get out of 3 gear.
