Loved this one Lou - cracking scenery throughout and for me no apology is needed for percieved lack of footage. The smiles through (most of) the video were worth watching for. One of my favourite pastimes is just sitting in the local forest watching the bugs do their thing - find it really relaxing. Asfor getting lost - you got it wrong. You are NEVER lost, the rest of the world is simply in the wrong place 😉

Marching uphill , piss wet through, with a full camping kit on my back and blisters on my feet, busting for a quiet five minutes at the back of a tree with a few sheets of dry paper, to be informed that "this is the wrong way", is my least favourite activity. que camping shovel in back of head.

I think the filming for this video has been exquisite. the wildlife filming was amazing and I agree the last sleepover was the best. The time away with Matt at the quarry must have been very special even though the weather was unkind at times ,and you definitely need a tent with sewn in ground sheet. Hello girls the snow chains bought back some memories. Trapped on an aire in France with a foot of snow we spent over an hour trying to fit them,after doing a dummy run in the UK. (FORGOT ) they worked but once out of the aire 30 yards, the roads were clear and the noise from the chains woke the village up. Then found snow socks. Happy travels.

A lightweight tent is the MSR Hubba (1 person) or Hubba Hubba (2 person) . I’d recommend the Hubba Hubba as there’s plenty of space inside for you and your rucksack for those rainy nights…and 2 doors!

I think this was one of the best vlogs I've seen yet - across all the vanlife people I follow! It just felt honest and I know that you edit but what you left in made me smile. love the layby by the lake, like you i do love to see the birds, and you have got to love the dawn chorus of the geese. Have hiked many miles over dartmoor when i was younger, but it can be a very miserable place in bad weather. Matt did well finding those spots. Emily will tell you, rule #1 in the forces, look after your feet. very important part of the equipment. Tent envy, Matts tent did look better, but was it also heavier? great video great adventures, see you on the next one.
