Camping & Floating the Jacks Fork River | Taking a Break from RV Life - S-06 Ep-03

Jacob & Stasia Larison - We load up our canoe, tent, and camping gear and head to Eminence, Missouri to float the Jacks Fork River. Jacks Fork Canoe & Campground offers beautiful campsites right along the river; we paid them $40 to shuttle our truck back to camp while we floated back to camp. Southern Missouri offers beautiful rivers to float, and we'd consider it a hidden gem.

Fun fact, per a Missouri DNR guy I know the Jacks Fork has the highest concentration of cotton mouths in that area of the state

@arthurbrumagem3844, that would make sense because the water clarity would make it much easier for them to fish. We've seen quite a few snakes while floating. We're always leery of floating under low hanging branches.
