If you want to avoid the groggy feeling, take a good look at the ingredients. Ratler has quite a lot of sulphites in it and they are a beast for givinbg you a hangover. Go a bit more old school, avoid the preservatives and I bet you can enjoy your tipple without fear.

Just come across your channel and watched this video we really enjoyed it! We watch a lot of camping videos and really enjoyed yours! The sound was a bit hard to hear sometimes with the wind but I appreciate equipment is NOT CHEAP 🫣!!! Keep at it 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Ah really appreciate that, thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Really glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the encouragement. I use a GoPro to record and have just invested in a wind shield for its mics, as on the coast line and moors you just can’t escape the wind! I’m still learning about video making so lots of room for improvement and I appreciate the feedback. All the best!

Great video, looked like a fab little spot. I only use stainless steel pans, so never tried a Trangia, but bioethanol is great for alcohol stoves, with practice you'll pour the right amount to burn to within a minute or two. A few tips, I take a small silicone funnel to make refilling easier without dismantling the stove. A gooseneck electric candle lighter is also great for lighting, just make sure it's one with a safety catch.

Thanks Kenton! And great tips buddy. That second time flinging in a spark from the fero rod was fun and worked great. Can’t wait to get out again. Thanks for watching. You planning a trip soon?

@@Campcookoutadventures Yeah the residual heat makes it so much easier to light second time. Tend to use electric lighter for alchohol mainly because I'm clumsy. Look on here for the various ways of making your own alcohol stove, think that would be right up your street. Should hopefully be doing a couple of Dartmoor trips this month.
