I would have cooked rice too but I had enough to do in one night setting up that lot and cooking the curry. I try not to take the quick and convenient food option but in some cases it just happens.

Nice video. Looks like that tent is a copy of my OneTigris Smokey Hut, never actually used mine as a hot tent but been tempted by that Winnerwell, just can't justify the price for the amount I'd use it. It's the 3.2m length and extra height I love (can sit on a chair inside) Quick tip, use the lid of a Pringles tub (or similar) under the alpenstock and it will stop that pole sinking in to the ground.

I was lucky and got the winnerwell on almost half price sale. The tepee tent was great! Much more headroom than most compact tents. Definitely using this set up again soon. Nice advice with the pole protector!

Thats great! Takes the edge off camping in the uk for sure. That might even convince my mrs to go. Now ill just need a fold up xbox and tv and a wood powered generator to get my daughter to join us 😂😂
