Great stuff as always. I have a question about Biminis on dinghys. They don't look like they really give much shade and I have always wondered if they are really worth having. We have never had one on any of our dinghies but would think about getting one if they are really useful.

mark mate i got to be honest i reckon they are great, but to tell you the truth, my bimini, although gives loads of shade, is far too big and gets in the way while fishing, so im thinking of swapping to a midsize bimini

How did you end up getting through the shallow spot? Also can you have fires there all year round?

Oh michael mate we just stuck to the deeper part near the edge of the river which was much deeper. Shallow part caught us off guard lol I dont think you can have fires all year round, dec 1st to march 31st is the ban period but i could be wrong
