It's possible you might have just shorted out the TCM last time you took it underwater, the space where the TCM would have been completely underwater, worked on my fair share of those while I was in and had something similar happen with another truck wouldn't shift out of 1st. Replaced the TCM and it was all good again

With the Hum V try putting it in park while its running and rock it back and forth from the front un till you hear a click and this should fix the trans issue at least for awhile.. This method has worked for me more then once.

One side, double bunk where the top one flips up so the bottom can be a bench. Other side, stove + sink + cutting surface. (separate battery box for lights - maybe even a solar panel up top)

I used to be in a ground ambulance company while in the army and regularly camped in them for weeks. sleeping in a litter on those racks is surprisingly comfortable. I meant to comment this on the last video you had on this but I think you have a cbrn unit to hook up gas masks in there. Its those PVC pipe looking things above the driver and passenger

My friend bought one of these and used it as a hunting cabin. I agree the beds were surprisingly comfortable and then later we started tearing it apart to build it up into a proper overlanding vehicle. We found in the corners a congealed mess we hoped wasn't dried blood but probably was, and also about 8 rusty 5.56 rounds, some gauze strips and a senior picture of a girl in high school from 2014, some paracord pieces and what looked like a medic velcro patch. There were some other medical supplies in there too. Even a surette of ketamine that was hidden inside one of about 10 empty cans of Skoal and Grizzly snuff. Whoever cleaned it out didn't do a thorough job. I was also amazed how slow it was. Like 45 was the top speed and it felt like you were going to come apart. He swapped a Duramax turbodiesel in there and some other stuff. Left the beds intact though. Tha k you for your service as well.

Another great video with you & Norm! It would be so great to see the rear area gutted and rebuilt for a true camper with padded sleeping bunks, maybe a slide out kitchen / cooking area. LED lighting upgrades. Bring along a decent sized battery bank and you guys are set. Maybe Catch & Cook using Air Fryer? Not sure if you only use Cast Iron but maybe a new Ceramic non-stick pan for cooking fish = less crumbled fish and full fish fillet sandwiches. Anyway, can't wait for the next video.

very simple design to make those bars more comfortable is to add hinged or a slat of wood as a base with a 1-2 in thick foam "mattress" that can be then folded up to the walls when not in use and still have room for the kayaks, possibly add parallel mounts on the sides of the truck or top to mount the kayaks tho would be cautious of width restrictions. love your guys content.

Use a combo of oil and butter….you want the pan smoking then add your oil and after it melts and bubbles out the pans ready for the fish..also works better if you season the fish before going to pan, even pre coating the fish with oil.. promise u better results, cheers!!
