Yeah I'd imagine it's quite challenging to catch a fish with your hook laying on the lake bed. If you check out 5:10 , the bobber is floating sideways. Just a little tip for next time haha

Well done with the fire! Next time you could gather some dry grass etc to make like a little bird's nest that you can light up. Oh and brother don't ruin your blade, you can use the dull side of it too! Some tips for your survival video that we'll be waiting for

One of my fav things to watch on KZbin is bushcraft videos where people go out and bring only the bare necessities and build camp and make food when they get there. Some bring tarps and some build laavus with wood. I would totally watch you do something similar!

We usually go camping in an island for a week with my best friend. It's so amazing to just hang there, eat, swim and go row a boat around the island. After that week it feels so good to take a shower and sleep in bed.

Really chill, relaxing vibe and overall entertaining video. Would love to see the Survivor video from you as well. Great job 😊 Also, while I love your solo vlogs very much, it's also interesting to see someone else featured, because it brings forth different kind of interaction.

Dave, a company called Varusteleka could have some opportunities for you. Promotional videos, maybe autumn or winter camping using mainly military gear they sell. Should include some British items for sure, say a backpack and clothing too.
@simp26623 жыл бұрын
Military stuff is of high quality, because they have to be. What a shame if some army lost a because of poor quality of their gear.

I was in Nuuksio park for two days/one night a few years ago. We camped on a little 'island' and there was a group of Finnish guys who brought a tarp and made a makeshift sauna, haha. Can't go a day without sauna! It's a really nice spot to spend a weekend!

So , I have an idea for you. Take contact with the Finnish company Varusteleka in Helsinki and tell them about your struggle to become a Finn in the wilderness. I have been buying stuff from them for a couple of years now and I think you would love them. Greetings from a Ruosso

7:13 that was maybe Lokki or Tiira ( I don't know what are they in english but thats their Finnish names). When I was sleeping in our boat with my dad, Tiira's "singed" the whole night and they made me almost crazy. Sorry if my english is not perfect, becouse I'm still learning it.

Supposedly this summer feels especially mosquito-y because the weather conditions allowed a lot of mosquitoes to hatch simultaneously. But at least the mosquitoes here in the southern end of the country are really coy. In the north they act like guided missiles, no fear for their lives whatsoever..!
@nameless_40843 жыл бұрын
from what i see from the inside of the tent, its dark outside. right now where i live in northern ostrobothnia there is nights where you could still drive without lights, the night is only 3hrs, as in the south its 5hrs

I assume you havent been fishing that much either? 5:09 if the bobber lays flat like that your hook is on the bottom. The bobbers white part has to be under water. When it is, the hook is not just laying on the bottom of the lake. Because, you know, you can't catch fish if the hook is in the bottom of the lake. I'm not sure where the best part is between the bottom and top of the lake but somewhere around the center or slightly under the center would be my assumption.

8:00 thats normal. I know that feeling. Use clothes bag(plastic or some other material bag where u put ur clothes). If u have enough clothes included it can be better than an excursion pillow. I have been in Many trips on hikes where I haven't had a pillow with me, so I know what can be applied to replace it. Better is if u find hammock 9:57 that's another common mistake. take the birchbark. scratch the surface of the birchbark with a knife blade. Place the results below the steel rod and scrape the steel rod as slowly as possible to keep the spark as long as possible. of course keep the results on the birchbark hope u understand what i try say. Text is from google translate 80% and 20% from me

As an avid outdoors guy, the thumb rule with tents is simple as this: 2 man tent is for 1 person, 3 man tent is for 2 persons and so on. You need to be really fat not to fit into a 2 man tent with your friend. Your height doesn't really matter. With this thumb rule in mind, there will be room for some of your stuff inside the tent also and you don't have to sleep so tight with your friend. /Edit: Oh yeah, and as you already seemed to figure out, forget about the cheap ones :)
@entertainmentNINJA3 жыл бұрын
