Absolutely. I would never say anything inappropriate in the comments. If I find someone’s video offensive or unacceptable I never say anything rude unless what they showed is shameful. I try to hold my opinion to nothing more than a thumbs down. Good videos like yours always get a Thumbs Up and a positive comment. I love 💕 the All Bruce Channel 🐾.

Dear Tony, There was a time where my camping gear was always at the ready. Now I’m old and have mobility limitations. Going camping with you and Bruce are now the only way I can get into the wilderness and enjoy sitting by the camp fire. Plus, how cool is it to explore New Zealand. And I get to see the latest camping equipment available! I like the length of your videos. Sometimes, I go and come back if I need to get something done.

My husband Dale looks so forward to watching you two, aswell as myself. It's usually late at night when we are able to watch. My husband is terminal just at the young age of 52. He always falls asleep, Not cause it's boring but he is so relaxed. He watches the next day. I just have to tell you that you brighten his whole day when he sees a new video. You have brought something to him. I don't know if it's your adventures, something he really wanted to do, or the love you have for Bruce. My husband was a very active man, he coached for years and was steel worker for 27 years. I want to thank you for what you have brought to my husband. You are truly a God send! Keep on camping, poop on the haters! And may God Bless you and your family. 💛 btw, we are from Keokuk Iowa, USA

I’m a senior Mom living with my daughter and her fiancé. I learn a lot about “process” watching you work through camp set up. I appreciate that you provide a lot of product information, how you use what you bring to camp, as well as why you use the products you use. I watch the single pan/pot cooking of the camping channels. My daughter and her fiancé are pescatarians. They cook big meals. I like to cook for myself. Watching camping channels, I am learning a lot about one pot or one pan meal prep and cooking - just for me. I love jelly on my pancakes, though I have not yet mastered flipping my pancakes. 🙂Working on it. As is my usual, I am working on my computer and I like long format KZbin videos. It helps me stay in this chair and work. Wow…that river crossing was something. Watched it twice. Really enjoy your videos and appreciate the time and effort you put into making them.

blackinkarchives - I'm not a senior Mom, but I understand, quite well, as a Senior Uncle. I understand and agree with most of what you said, as well, I watched that river crossing several times as well. I might be wrong, but by pescatarians, I'm thinking it is meant, that they eat 'fish', which probably indicates that they don't eat the meat of mammals, and probably not 'birds' as well, as otherwise, why mention it? As to 'flipping' pancakes, I can be commensurate. Flipping anything, is probably the riskiest of all operations (of cooking). I once was doing a 'try out' at a restaurant kitchen, and among many other things, the Chef (who was to hire me, if at all), asked me to 'flip' an egg, which I did, but I messed up a little bit. It wasn't a total 'dealbreaker', as he said, 'Look, here is how to do it'. I told him, you don't need to teach me that, but rather, I just need to get to know your pan. They are industry standard, he said, and that was true, but not the standard in my kitchen, I explained, and thus I was given a second chance, of which I stuck the landing, spot on, and was hired. I worked with this Chef for a few years, being glad to show up to work (meaning, he was a very enjoyable person, for a 'Chef'). One pot, or one pan cooking, is an art form that I still practice, even when not required to, just to remain somewhat good at it. I appreciated your comment, as being close to what I wanted to say.
@blackinkarchives5160
@blackinkarchives5160 Жыл бұрын
@@dobiebloke9311 You are absolutely correct. They don't eat mammals or birds, which presents a dilemma for me. I still like chicken which I like to put in my soups. Your comments were very helpful to me. My daughter is a "line cook" and definitely "owns" the kitchen in our household. When she is cooking, I get out of the way. Cooking is something I least like to do, but I love good food. So, yes, I am trying to learn "one pot/one pan cooking. I prepare my meals separately. I've been watching a lot of campers, van lifers, RVers, etc. and how they cook their meals with the space limitations. I burnt a pot of soup a couple of weeks ago because I forgot to put it on simmer. Was very mad at myself as I was looking forward to a cup of soup for lunch and dinner. Its getting cold outside, so I will be scouring KZbin watching people cook, at camp, on their two-burner stoves, etc. Looking for ideas and watching their process. My daughter would agree about cooking gear. She has lots of pots and pans, which I don't bother using. I just need one goot pot to make soup and vegetables. 🙂

@@blackinkarchives5160 - Interesting about your daughter being a line cook. I once was interviewed for the job of a line cook, but I was hoodwinked into it, meaning I was not expecting it, but someone had set me up for such. At the end of the interview, I said, I am willing to be a chef, as the last man standing, which is as well, the condition that I might be a line cook. Otherwise, I don't want the job. They ended up hiring me for a one-week tryout, everything from janitor, dishwasher, line cook and chef, and they eventually did hire me as I wanted to be, which was as a 'prep cook', which I'm pretty good at and willing to do. Have I played the other roles? Yes, in a pinch, but I am meant to be a prep cook.

I love Border Collies, my uncle always had one, his were Welsh bred working dogs. He and that dog would walk for miles every day. As he got older with a failing memory his second dog would make sure he got back home. They really needed one another. With his first dog they used to do a walking trip every summer along the Cornish Coastal path. They are fantastic dogs, but as you say in the video, not necessarily ideal for everyone

Tony and Bruce this is just what I needed, after 12 hours at the BBQ restaurant today, and I should be going to bed right now for 15 to 16 hours tomorrow, but your adventures, your rants, and of course Bruce put me in my happy place, I can't believe people sometimes, I'm willing to bet, those that say to feed Bruce more, are "over eaters" themselves and have over weight pets, and sadly to many people try involving themselves in other peoples lives to much. Thank you so much for making these, you and Bruce are true stars in my eyes. And To Tony Famous words, " It's my channel and I'll do what I want".

So much to say about this one, Tony! Hard for me as a teacher for 40 years, but I will try to be brief. First, I loved your new elevated tent! At first, I didn’t think it would be wide enough for the 2 of you, but you fit perfectly. I was in awe when you maneuvered the awning (!!) off of the top of the truck. I have seen it before, but forgot it went around your truck!😱I love how you think of Bruce in all dangerous or tight situations. You are a great dad! That truck does amazing tricks! All that cool stuff you have outfitted it with is amazing and saved your buns this time. You made the right decision to cut and run…. I recall that horrible storm that collapsed your tent! Great video; very enjoyable as always. Hope no damage at your home from this one.❤️🤗🤗 Big hugs to you and Bruce. Harriet

I usually avoid commenting on vlogs, but I wanted to thank you for pointing out how important it is to watch the ads rather than skip them. I will stop skipping them from now on! I visited New Zealand many years ago, roughly 1973, with my family. We stayed at a sheep farm for a week - a very remote sheep farm that took hours of driving to get to. My father loved finding the most rustic places he could, lol. We were there during lambing season. Unfortunately, during our stay there was relentless rain, so much that the lambs and ewes were drowning to death in the fields whilst birthing. Several lambs were brought into the farmhouse, where we helped towel them dry, bottle feed them, and keep them warm. I remember the beauty of the place - and your videos bring back those memories. Thanks for putting so much effort into your adventures:)

Hi Tony and Brucie, once again Thank You so much for the camping adventures. I grew up camping every weekend and 3 months out of the summer every year with my parents and siblings all over the US. It's so nice to watch your step by step real life camping instead of glamping. I'm just into a year of early retirement and making plans as a solo female to get back into nature full time and down to the basics. Your videos take me there while I'm waiting on tying up a few lose ends. Hopefully by end of August early September, I've waited long enough. I appreciate that you take such good care of Brucie by listening to his heritage and his vet on what keeps him heathly and young. I do the same for my Leonardo(dog) and my newly obtained kitten(Sparky). When your with your animal or animals full time you know much better how they react to certain things and it is apparent that Brucie responds appropriately to you and what he Loves to do. That's Love and Concern that I see coming from your videos, not a lot of people would think to put a night collar on their dogs or cats. I think that's brilliant and Thank You for that idea for when myself and my animals get our opportunity to explore nature again. I also Love watching your 3 hour videos because they are full of good commentary on what products are good quality and what ones need to go back to the drawing board for an upgrade. I Love cigar and hot chocolate time, it's a good way to relax your mind and spirit for a good rejuvenating night's sleep. Thank you for sharing about the KZbin Adds, I understand much better how that helps all of you that make content for the rest of us. I'll be sure to watch them all the way through now. I hope Corprals Corner doesn't give up, I Love his videos as well along with a lot of others. Again Thank you for your time you spend on us. Sending vibes of Blessings and Love for you and Brucie's continued adventures and to your wife Ann and son(my apologies I've forgotten his name) I'll get it right next time. Have a Blessed week!

Wew!! Watching your adventures always brings me memories of my time camping in the Utah mountains. This one didn't make my anxiety as crazy as the video of the beach, when it tore up the tent and tarp, but holy crap. Witnessing several floods in Texas but also hearing about the flooding that happens regularly in southern Utah, I know how quick a storm can become scary, I was glued to the screen watching the navigation through the streams. I love how you talked through it, Tony! And I love how respectful you guys are when driving through the housing areas that are flooded. People don't understand that driving through it quickly creates damage to the areas around it. I didn't know until my apartment complex told us during our first flood. Bruce is amazing. He's so fun to watch and easy to see he's a happy and healthy dog. He's SPOILED with love. Keep up the good work! Anne must be so relieved when you are able to get her a message that everything is good. I'm a big Anne fan too just by the way you talk about her! It's amazing to see a relationship where you're supported and able to do the things you love and hearing you talk about her, there's obvious reciprocation. That's a beautiful thing.

High Tony, I’m Kevin. I live in Southern California, USA. I happened upon your channel and subscribed shortly after. I do watch other camping videos, some of which I subscribe to. None of the other camping channels that I subscribe to are as long as yours, which is why I can’t wait for you to load up another one. I don’t have to sit and watch the entire thing all at once. Sometimes I break it up only because I get involved in other things. But I always come back and finish it as soon as I can. I love the interaction with you and Bruce, as well as your cigar time. Please keep making these videos. Love your channel.

Tony, Really appreciated this video. Thanks for sharing your thought process along the way as to whether to depart camp early. That’s similar to how I would have thought it through. I watch videos from a number of channels in what I might call the “comfortable overnight camping” genre, and recently found your content. At first, I was a little skeptical of the length of the videos, but now am completely sold. You’ve become my favorite in the genre! I’ve realized that the length of the videos adds to the relaxing and enjoyable nature of the viewing experience. I also appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the world, peeks into life in New Zealand, and providing glimpses into what’s important in your personal life. I hope to be a tourist in New Zealand one day. Please keep it up! Jay

Hi Tony and Brucie and greetings from Georgia, USA! Wow! You kept me at the edge of my seat while crossing the river! Got to tell you this one is one of your best videos yet! Love the drone takes, the beautiful scenery, seeing Brucie enjoying himself, your cooking, and your comments on camping gear and other topics. I will probably never have the chance to visit New Zealand, but thanks to you, I have being experiencing the many great things it has to offer. Watched The Terminal List twice and agree with you it’s really an excellent mini series. Keep up the good work and may God bless you with good health and the energy to continue doing what you love. @@afluna5417 - As such, there are a few other 'New Zealand' YT channels that I can refer you too, that you might already know of. One, is 'Sailing with the Wynns', being a play on their surname, but they have been (mostly) sailing a catamaran around and about NZ, since this whole covid thing happened, as they basically didn't have much of an option to do otherwise, or to go anywhere else. The fact that they could get to New Zealand at all, was kismet. The other channel, is called 'Your New Zealand Family', being not the same sort of adventure, but to me, of NZ, I find it quite fun, just to compare cultures. By the way, I've enjoyed Georgia (and as well, the Carolina's, Virginia's and Kentucky's (meaning to include the Tennessee of it) as I have been around the block, before, as needed, and as well, having to spit in a rain, meaning that as beautifully often, it was barely of worth, to being just a notion, with my ass ended up of the notion intended. Meant to say, I've loved every minute of it, up until death.

I really enjoy seeing the new and different gear each trip. The tent on top of the cot is very cool. I may have to look into getting that setup. Ignore the dog comments. It's not about a "correct" amount of food. It's about the right amount to keep your dog at a healthy weight. Bruce looks great. You keep motivating us to get out and camp. I'll be camping tomorrow and trying my new Jetboil 2 burner stove. I'll cook some burgers in your honor.

Hi Tony and Bruce, have been a long time viewer and I really enjoy your camping experiences and the emotion you choose to share with the world. This episode; the drone footage of your river crossing was one of the highlights for me as well as when I say what tent you were using, I brought that same setup at the beginning of the year in Australia and went camping in summer, the reflecting awning pulled back over the tent keeps the heat out very well, my main and only problem with it was the condensation even with every possible opening open the inside of the tent and the mattress was completely soaked and had to use a towel to dry it up before packing it away. I ended up returning it for a refund as I have never had that lvl of dampness in any swag/ tent in the past. Just a heads up for the future. Keep up the fun mate , take care.
