Steve this is brilliant. Best camping video I’ve seen in quite a while. Filming, shots, photos, audio, story telling, info. Really enjoyed it. What’s the tripod you chose for timelapse? I do a lot of that and found that the best thing to do is to use big spikes instead of rubber feet. If you haven’t already. Agreed on the fried spam. Underrated. Thanks again mate

Thanks buddy 👍 trying to make the videos a bit more cinematic.. I got the tripod off amazon amzn.to/3ZsMWH5 .. never thought about spikes m8.. probably a better idea 🙂👍

Mega bread cake sarnies Steve 👍. It's a lovely spot for a short one nighter, and you've got a water supply right next to you. Cheers for sharing 👍

Hi Steve, Another great video cheers. I don't wild camp although I do hike and do photography. Always a pleasure to watch your vids. I don't think your pics were that noisy really. The colours weren't great but it WAS nighttime!! But as to noise, not that bad at all really.

Hi Steve, what a fantastically edited video. You captured Small water beautifully. Your question about the centre pole. I have the Soulo BL and after watching the KZbin tutorial from Hilleberg, it’s shows the centre pole going in last, over the top of the 2 crossover poles, however some say that putting the centre pole in 1st provides more stability on the crossover poles. I always put the crossover poles in 1st then centre pole over the top. Keep up the great work⛺️👍

Thank you for watching 👍 I'm going to have to try the middle pole on top next time.. quick question.... I have the Soulo RL & thinking of buying the 10.2mm poles. Do you think the clips on the tent would still work with them being a larger diameter pole . Don't know if the clips are a standard size on both BL & RL? Thank m8

@ good question that regarding the clips. I’m unsure, may pay to email Hilleberg and ask the question before purchasing. 👍

Great spot been few times, was bit rubbish up there and fire marks .end up spoilt mate.

Thanks for watching m8 👍 yeah you can definitely tell the pitch is well used regularly. Only saw one burn mark of a fire.. probably get more in the summer. Camped on the Rigg on Haweswater once in the wooded area and saw absolutely hundreds 😒... such a shame ATB

Hi Steve - great vid again thanks. Not a Soulo owner yet but pitching guide suggests the smaller / centre pole passes over the top of the two longer ones. To be honest Ive watched many videos and doesn’t seem to be an issue if the pole runs under. Cheers.

Thanks for watching m8 👍 yeah a few people have said pole over the top now .... going to try it next time 👍
