Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Gorgeous views! I'm from a long line of hillbillies here in the Appalachian Mountains of NC. About 20 minutes from the Linville Gorge & the App. Trail. I really miss camping. Unfortunately, I'm unable to go anymore. "What a drag it is getting old"! Tell Royce hey with a big ear scratch and your co-conspirator thanks for allowing us along! 👍👣🐾

Wow you did have a wild ride getting there! So glad you did get there safely for sure! Good to see Royce, he looks pretty smitten in is new jacket! Wine didn't come in small cartons like that back when i was drinking wine! That bag for heating up yur food is pretty nifty! I've heard some scary story's about the Appalachian Trails, so be safe out there specially at night! All yur campsites had beautiful views! It was nice of you to put the little trout back for someone else to catch if their lucky enough! Thanks for sharing!! ~~💙💜💙~~

I read a book about the Appalachian trials by Bill Bryson years ago. I've wanted to check out the trails ever since. Royce is having a blast so far. He loves watching the ocean waves now that we are along the coast.

What a gorgeous camping trip! It’s amazing how much untouched wildlife is in Canada. And the rock hunting in the end?? I’d love that so much!!

I'm headed to an area this week with the largest collection of Devonian era fish fossils. Pumped to check out the beaches.

Very nice! I am stoked you chose Gaspésie, Québec for vacationing. 2600 kms is quite a long drive with the weather acting up, fires in Lévis, must of been very scary. Shame on me as I have never been there myself as of yet. Quite a few children at school have been over the summer, they enjoyed it. Looking forward to part 2! Thank you for taking us along 😊

Hello! Travelled from NB for a weekend camping trip in the Gaspe region. Stayed one night at the Port-Daniel Reserve…beautiful spot…then along route 132 most along the water to Matane, before heading south across back to NB. Nice quick trip with excellent weather.

Interesting that the trout fishing is tough all the way out there in Quebec. Rivers are picturesque but that's a common distraction. I would recommend the lure i sent you with some worm added .But it is August .
@TheWildYam3 ай бұрын
Maybe it was because it was in a Sepeq park and over fished all summer is my guess. The season is wrapped up here now. I totally want to go back and will bring your gear! I totally forgot it at home. Was thinking more of mackeral fishing and had to dig around to find a lure for my spontaneous trout fishing adventure!
@alexs34473 ай бұрын
@@TheWildYam Well you know my one lure fits all philosophy .Just watched the avg joes video in Algonquin getting 16 -19 inchers. Makes me ill but he was releasing them. Similar rivers north of Webbwood and Massey . North of a place called Gordon Chutes.
